Wow, tons of respect lost on the WDW management for selling that for $13.
I've been in retail for 15 years. This looks like Black Friday for meThese people are absolutely raiding the refrigerators here like it's Costco. Poor CMs are carting supplies back and forth.
I agree - might even be illegal if someone reports it.
Least they could have given you Mickey pretzelsDon't be surprised if resorts begin to move to more minimal staffing to necessary only. Get what you need now, even if a line.

Trader Sam's will be closing tonight at 8 so our skippers can try to get home and be safe.

Here is one of the box lunches. IMPORTANT info in red and honestly I think the price is a ripoff for that. I think $7-8 still puts a huge profit in their pocket. Sad.

You are probably right, but I hope that this information hits the media. WDW should be publicly shamed for taking advantage of patrons with so limited options like this.I don't know if it is necessarily illegal as it isn't something typically offered. Price gouging comes about when you can track the cost. I do agree though that 12.99 is ridiculous for that. Would be better off standing in line for the hot food.
Our flight home Saturday on SWA was cancelled. By the time I received the text, every flight is sold out until Monday.
I went to the Beach Club front desk who told me everything was sold out and I couldn't book a room anywhere on property until "they see how things are" tomorrow. So I booked a room at Pop myself (online) for Saturday-Monday. Now wondering if we will be able to get transportation to Pop on Saturday??
I feel so lost. I feel like I let my family down. I wish we had rented a car and driven home this morning. I thought about renting one right now and driving home to TN tonight. Most places are sold out from MCO. The ones I found are nearly $500. Is it too late to evacuate??

Especially when we all know they have endless frozen pizzas they could be cooking and giving away to people.
YES!!!!
Stay where you are.
I betcha they won't make you move from the Beach Club on Saturday. Think about the fact that all these incoming folks won't be able to get into Orlando. I also think they'll find a way to get you to Pop. I'm sure it's chaos there right now, even for the CMs. From what I see on a TA website, they've basically halted all new ressies across the property until this sorts itself out.

You can check Alamo, National, and Enterprise websites to see if you can reserve a car to pick up at the Dolphin. Take a look at the Transportation board for Contract Codes and Coupon Codes.Kind of what I thought. Thanks. Still hoping roads might be where we can rent a car Sat or Sunday and drive home. It's about a 14 hr drive for us. But again, I don't even know if the roads will be passable
I am glad that you are satisfied, but the only reason that you got a soda is because you used a QS credit, which includes a drink. We got the boxed lunches - 4 of them all with QS credits and got bottles of soda. I honestly didn't care about the price because
A) QS credits need to be used
My guess is will take some time for airlines to move equipment and crews back into the area after the "all clear."Some are reporting Saturday airline cancelations. I'm sure they're going to be so overbooked it wouldn't be surprising if they added waivers to cancel or change flights.
