Hurricane damage

I have just heard from my friend who lives in orlando i think they got off light thank goodness a few wind gusts but mainly rain.

We were there-I didn't think it was bad-DTD opened at 1pm yesterday with all parks closed. It was sunny and breezy by 1pm.

According to the last minute published schedule, Magic Kingdom and Epcot opened in the 1 to 2 time frame with added evening hours.

So Disney got in almost a full day's business at those parks.

The total revenue, even without MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom, and taking into account the slack season, may have been nearly the same had there been no hurricane.
