hurrican reschedulers..when are you going...will early Dec be xtra busy????

I've read a couple of places this early Dec will be busier than normal due to hurricanes and rescheduling... does anyone have any evidence of this? someone posted that a cm said rooms are filling up really fast for some reason. if this is the case i would rather change my time of arrival to early Jan( really didn't want to chance cold weather again but will take that over crowds)

Early Dec is extra busy this year without rescheduling. Most weekends are booked at the deluxe hotels.

I have read a lot of the posters threads on their cancelled trips. Right now it looks like maybe 1/2 rescheduled to early Dec. But we are just a glimpse of the big picture.

that was i am hearing also...seriously thinking of changing but might keep the resie till the ap rates for jan. come out just in case!

We were going 9/25 to 10/2 and rescheduled to 12/4 to 12/11. Just wanted to quit worrying about the weather. It wasn't Hurricane Ivan that caused it, just the thought of rain and the potential for new storms in this very active hurricane season. Couldn't believe it when Continental allowed the change at no fee. Like a godsend. Hope it won't be too busy. Hated missing out on the Food and Wine Festival, but MCMVP looks like a blast.

talked to a cm tonight who said the hotels are full now due to floridians because of the hurricanes but no more bookings in early Dec than usual...wonder if she is right or not

I was going Labor Day weekend but "sort of" rescheduled to Columbus Day weekend. By sort of, I mean I am going back but not with the person I was originally planning to go with. We are also thinking about early December. I think alot of people may have picked that time because it is after hurricane season but lots of fun stuff going on with MVMCP, etc.
