Hungry Are The Damned! 10/15/07-10/25/07 - COMPLETED W/LOTS OF PICS!!!

Brenda,

Wonderful ending to most excellent food review.

You brought back memories with the Fairy Tale Cuvee for Marcel and I!!! First time was at V&A's during our honeymoon. In fact, whenever we go back there we always ask if they have any and share a glass to celebrate memories.

Have a wonderful weekend!!!!

Oh, and by the way -- because of you -- I will be singing that darn fish head song all day.

Take care. :goodvibes

It's too soon to be over!! More foods!

Btw, did you feel that earthquake this morning?

I woke up (Jay was already getting ready for work) and thought ... I know it's windy outside but since when does that make the bed shake? :lmao:

Definitely weird ... our poor kitty was very upset. And now I'm scared to death to go look at our basement ... I've got a feeling we just developed twenty-three more cracks in our foundation.

Thanks for reading Jeanne! We always have a bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee whenever we do anything Disney ... it's just the right thing to do! :goodvibes

My work here is done. :rotfl2:

For some reason I had it going through my head last night ... I just thought I'd share the love. ;)

Even the earthquake gods are not happy your trippie is over!:worship:

Glad you're ok and hope your foundation is ok.

If you had been on stage I would being standing up clapping as you take your final bow...BRAVO BRAVO!

Bravo, Brenda, for another fabulous food report!:thumbsup2 I really shouldn't read these so early in the morning . . . when I should be working . . . on a Friday . . . now I'm just hungry and disappointed that I'm not on vacation somewhere!;)

Truly, Brenda, thanks so much for all the time and effort you put in to share all the food love with us. :goodvibes Thank goodness you have more trips in the works!

Have a fantastic time in Vegas!:cool1:

I can't believe it's over! But I sure am glad you and Jay are okay--I wondered if you felt the earthquake when I watched the news this morning. We can't lose our favorite food critic!:thumbsup2

I still say it's a crime to put mustard on fries--mustard belongs on pizza!:rotfl: All the offerings on your last day looked really good, it makes me sad that we'll miss F&W this year. We won't be on DDP so I could have actually tried all this stuff. :sad2:

See you on the blog!:flower3: (I'm really happy with the smilies today, aren't I?)

Over! Say it isn't so! :sad1:

Brenda, as always your stellar dining reviews have been so much fun to follow - I will miss them terribly. Thanks for the ride and I will definitely be watching the blog for your Vegas reviews. Have a great time!! :cool1:

I have loved all of your reports and they have helped me make some dining choices and have finally convinced my DH to try the Party of the Senses and maybe a wine pairing or two!

Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into this report.

I always hate to see your reports end, can't wait for the next one! Excellent job Brenda!!!!:thumbsup2

wonderful trippie as usual Bendy! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to see what is in store for this coming October!

I'm kinda sad this report is over, but I intend to read all your blog entries, so that should provide a little "dining report like no other"!

But I just had to say that the breakfast at Boma is absolutely scrumptious! Everything is so fresh, the coffe is great and the atmosphere is so different than the one at dinner! It might be one of the reasons why we're probably going to buy into DVC AKV... Food is a good reason to buy a vacation time share right???

I've been a lurker on your TR since the beginning but now that it's over I wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed it. Drooling over all the booze makes me want to go and try the F & W festival one year. We're going during F & G festival in a few days and somehow looking at the flowers just doesn't seem like it compares to wandering around world showcase eating and drinking the whole time. BTW also love Plankton. The mickey hat is the best.

Another fantastic report Brenda and to end it off with some cheese, madelaines and a bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee, it doesn't get any better.

I can't wait to read about the Vegas trip!!!

A fine ending to a great report, Brenda. Thanks for the chuckles and also for the appraisals and suggestions. All were greatly appreciated!

Thanks for reading Elin! Hope to see you this October!

Hey Brenda!

Thanks for taking us along on yet another adventure into the Food & Wine Festival. I can hardly wait to sample everything in October! I'm sorry our trips don't overlap at all, but I'm sure Planky will meet his LEGO alter-ego sometime in the future. For now, he'll just have to read about himself on our trippy (once I have some time to get moving on it again). Anyway, just wanted to thank you again for all the wonderful reviews and pictures. :worship: Makes me hungry....must find food now....popcorn::

Hi Jodi! It's too bad that we don't overlap this year ... maybe we can manage a meeting in 2009? Thanks so much for taking the time to read our reviews ... once we get home from Vegas it will be time for me to play catch-up on your TR as well as some others. :thumbsup2

Awesome. Thanks for the report. Lookin forward to hearin about Vegas baby!

Thanks as always for reading - we're looking forward to telling you all about Vegas! Maybe we'll have a chance to try some good Scotch while we're there!

Many thanks for the great report!!

Thanks for reading Mr. Scorpio - always a pleasure to have you here!

Brenda,

I think I have read all your reports. I like the prose as well as the pics. I really like WDW but have never been to the F&WF. I feel like I know a little what it is like--and it looks yummy. :rotfl: Thank you. :goodvibes

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer - thanks so much for the lovely compliment ... you made me smile. F&W is definitely yummy - I hope you get a chance to try it some day. Thanks again for reading! :goodvibes

Ya know.. suddenly I'm hungry... :worship: (note to self... Chocolate Chip Madelaines!!!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :goodvibes

You're too funny! I knew I was going to spell madelaines wrong ... but they sure tasted good! Try them the next time you're in France!

I'm so blue that the TR has finished:sad: It's been so much fun but at least I know that after this trip the Scottish Whisky distillers can sleep easy in their bed's at night...consumption looks like it may be on the increase;)

Thanks for sharing the fun and I'll look forward to your next TR:love:

Thanks for reading Elin! Hope to see you this October!

:sad2: I am sorry to say that it is not going to be this year, Brenda. We are headed there in September instead. Our dates are 9/27-10/1 for now. As much as I would love to stay until you and Jason arrive, I don't think our finances, and more importantly my students, will allow that!

We have never gone to F&W Festival at the beginning, so this ought to be interesting!

I'm sad that it's all over Bendy, but I am looking forward to your future adventures :thumbsup2

Thanks for many hours of laughter and entertainment, it was a fun ride and I was glad to have been a passenger :goodvibes

Hi Cass! Thanks for taking the time to read, especially those posts where we were talking about weird and scary food. ;)

BTW, Joe's is a restaurant at Caesar's Palace, famous for stone crabs I think. Just thought you might be going, but I guess not. No biggie, I was just looking for a decent place for our anniversary dinner.

Thanks for the wonderful reviews and awesome pics :thumbsup2

I can ask Jay's aunt and uncle while we're there if you'd like - they're locals so they would probably have some good recommendations.

It's OVER?!

WOW!!! What a ride!!!:cool1:

You ROCK Bendy!!! I've enjoyed living vicariously through you and your Jay! I am quite positive that if we all ran into one another we'd have quite a time! Y'all are our kind of peeps...booze lovin and Simpson quotin foodies! YEEhAW!!!

I'll see you around on your blog FO SHO!

Can't wait to hear about Vegas!!!

:goodvibes:

Hi Miss Cammy! Thank you so much for reading! I'm sure that if the four of us met up we'd have some good times indeed ... we should seriously consider it some time.

I'll be looking for you on the blog ... and there will be lots of updates after next week!

Thank you - Thank you
Another wonderful report! :thumbsup2

Thanks for reading Kabuki - and next time be sure to say hi when you see me stuffing my face in the real world ... :goodvibes

Thanks for another great food report, Brenda. :worship::worship:

We are headed to WDW in October for our first Food and Wine Festival. I had no idea what to expect until reading this report and now I realize that I better start dieting now just to make room for all that food!

Can't wait to read about Vegas. Have a great trip!

Thanks so much! How exciting for you ... your first F&W Festival! I hope you enjoy it as much as Jay and I do!!

Thanks for the good trip vibes - I hope to have lots to write about once we're back next week.

Thanks Miss Bendy for a wonderful review and allowing our October Jolly to last an extra 6 months.....We so look forward to the time when we can buy you two some REAL Yorkshire fish and chips (Their is no better, anywhere)eaten out of old newspapers covered in salt and vinegar not that rubbish they try to fob you off with in Epcot....

ps...Will their be more bare flesh in your Vegas trippee?...:rolleyes1

AFEG ... thanks so much for coming over to read along. We too look forward to the day when we can overrun your house and eat the real fish and chips when we come visit you and your lovely family in the Mother country. Just as soon as the dollar makes some headway against the Euro and I get a third job to pay for my food addiction ... :lmao:

As for Vegas and potential free ice cream moments ... we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

It's over???!!!  Awww, I think I need a moment......

Sniff, sniff.. Okay, I'm better now.

Another great one Brenda! :worship: You are the reigning Queen!

And I know we couldn't have enjoyed half as many dishes from ANY OTHER two skinny people!!! ;)

Did I read that right? You will be back in the World this fall? Is that from fear of the Food Gods? It seems that plagues have been sent down upon your poor "stinktown". Flood waters & now earthquakes?!:scared: It must be a sign, Dear Brenda! That you will continue to bless us with many more wonderful food reviews. From Disney or anywhere else in the World! (yes, the real world too! Although Vegas isn't quite the Real World either, is it?  )
I will be checking in on your blog. Can't wait to see & hear what Vegas has to offer!
