Hungry Are The Damned! 10/15/07-10/25/07 - COMPLETED W/LOTS OF PICS!!!

Wow, two pages already and you hadn't even started when I checked the Dis last night before I went to bed!! Looking forward to reading all about the food on your latest trip, but I'm sad that its the last food report for a while :sad2:

That sundae at B&C looks delicious, we've never eaten there on any of our trips so I'll have to add it to the (ever growing) list for 2009! I'm also very interested in your review of Spoodles as it was the only other WDW restaurant David and I ate at (the other was V&As :cloud9: ) on our flying visit (two nights only) trip in July. We had a delicious dinner there, hope yours was as good!

Can't wait for the next installment! :yay:

**Brenda's Dining Tip #68: Dip your fries in cheap yellow mustard instead of catsup / ketchup. It's like eating a glob of sunshine with every mouthful.**

Eeeeeeew! "A glob of sunshine with every mouthful"??? Where did that come from? Who replaced my drink with Pollyanna Punch?

I do that too! I hate ketchup on fries but I love the mustard. Shaun thinks I'm strange for it.

Joining in :D

YEAH!! Brenda Trippie!

I am soooo jealous that you got to sample the goodness of the No Way Jose! We had wanted to make it over to B&C with good intentions, but we ran late at MGM and had to make it over to the PPP. Next time, next time!

I only got one issue with this report, it's the last for another YEAR? What are we meant to salivate over? This is Plankton talking isn't it...

Great start! It's lunchtime here and my belly can be heard for miles around!

Don't be alarmed, but I could be considered a "Brenda groupie".

Yeah Brenda's back. I too have been waiting and checking the boards for your report. Yes, I am too.

**Brenda's Dining Tip #68: Dip your fries in cheap yellow mustard instead of catsup / ketchup. It's like eating a glob of sunshine with every mouthful.**

Brenda, I will have to try the sunshine next time, I usually dip my fries in mayo. If you can have mayo, try that. I thought both of your cheeseburgers looked very yummy.

The No Way Jose!!!

This looks like heaven. Adding this to my to do list for 2009.

Can't wait for more. I'm so excited.popcorn::

Welcome home Brenda! I hope you enjoyed celebrating your birthday in Disney. Sorry to hear Jay was sick, it's horrible to be sick in Disney.

Did you get to meet up with my pal shovan?

Looking forward to the rest of your reviews!!

Looking forward to the reviews...since I am in the planning stages for our next trip (on the Deluxe DP, I think) any input will be appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by - I hope this helps you out. Feel free to ask any questions you may have - I'm no expert on Disney Dining but there are plenty of good people here who are willing to share their experiences with others.

The deluxe plan ... mmmmmmmmm.

Wooooooo! I'm here for the long haul :dance3: again... well Brenda, lets go :yay:

Hiya! :goodvibes I'll see if I can't manage to not drag this out forever. ;)

Hey Brenda,
I'm glad to see that you are back home and, more importantly, writing about your most recent trip! Don't be alarmed, but I could be considered a "Brenda groupie". Your writing style and incredible sense of humor make your posts irresistable. My husband and I are also Disney lovers, and we love reading about your adventures. Keep the reports comin', girlfriend!!!
popcorn::

Awwww, thanks so much. :flower3: I'm glad you've enjoyed our TRs so far - I sure hope this one and the others in progress live up to the hype. No pressure!

I'm so excited to see you are back and posting reviews of your latest trip! I read your other WDW reports (I admit it... I lurked :rolleyes1 ), but now must come out and tell you what a big fan I am.

Thanks so much for writing and letting us foodies relive the experience! :goodvibes

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to post and for letting me share the food love once more. We took lots of pictures so I think everyone will be happy.

woohoo! welcome back -we've been burning the kitchen light each night for you just waiting for your safe return to your keyboard ---start typing sister!!!:yay:

I wondered what that little light was that I kept seeing in the distance. All this time I thought it was the beacon at the top of the Yacht / Beach Club lighthouse ... ;)

Thanks for popping in - I will type as fast as my brain and my job will allow for, how's that?

Mmmm...ice cream porn...I really have to get to B&C over my December trip.

Oh yes ... if you haven't made it to B&C yet you must go there. Dessert is a moral imperative!

I love the start of the food offerings. I'm tempted to go to Friendly's while in PA for a similiar sundae to the No Way Jose to hold me over until next month.

Thanks for reading! I wish we had someplace like Friendly's here in STL but we got zilch. I'm just going to have to ask Jay to make me a batch of mudslides to compensate. Hope you have a great trip next month!

Looking forward to more!!!:dance3:

Thanks for reading!

Looking forward to this:thumbsup2

Thanks for joining the ride - it's nice to see you again! :goodvibes

Crazy fun, isn't it? Thanks for coming along on this review, too. I'm also sad that this will be the last one for a while ... we have no plans to go back to WDW in 2008 and I'm not even sure about 2009. We're going to get very hungry ... :rotfl2:

You must visit Beaches and Cream on your next visit - I insist! And Spoodles was great - I wasn't sure how I'd like it but Jay and I both really enjoyed it. Try their Sangria the next time you visit!

I heard about your famous dining reviews.:thumbsup2 I can't wait to read more:yay:

Famous, huh? No pressure ... :scared1: All joking aside, thanks for popping in; I hope you enjoy our reviews.

I do that too! I hate ketchup on fries but I love the mustard. Shaun thinks I'm strange for it.

Great minds! I can't stand ketchup on anything (weird, I know, because I love tomatoes) but mustard ... oh yeah!

Thanks for stopping by, Mel!

YEAH!! Brenda Trippie!

I am soooo jealous that you got to sample the goodness of the No Way Jose! We had wanted to make it over to B&C with good intentions, but we ran late at MGM and had to make it over to the PPP. Next time, next time!

Hayley! How are you? Thanks for joining the fun. You must go to B&C on your next visit - yummy yummy yummy!!!

I only got one issue with this report, it's the last for another YEAR? What are we meant to salivate over? This is Plankton talking isn't it...

Great start! It's lunchtime here and my belly can be heard for miles around!

I wish it was Plankton talking, but the sad truth is that we won't be back at WDW for at least two years (unless we win the lotterty or a free trip!) and I'm already sad and hungry just thinking about it. But there are always great food reports here on the DIS, so I think we'll all be fine. ;)

I'm in...  sounds great already!

Thanks for reading!

Hi Laura, glad you found us! I have heard that some people use mayo on their fries, but I will have to pass. I don't really like mayo, either, unless it's a small amount in my tuna salad.

The cheeseburgers were really good at B&C and the No Way Jose was ... fabulous! You should try one on your next visit - I think you'll like it!

Thanks for reading. :goodvibes

Forget the cheeseburger I'll have the sundae for lunch!!!!:lmao:

I think that's a fine attitude! :thumbsup2

Welcome home Brenda! I hope you enjoyed celebrating your birthday in Disney. Sorry to hear Jay was sick, it's horrible to be sick in Disney.

Did you get to meet up with my pal shovan?

Looking forward to the rest of your reviews!!

Hi Kathy, thanks for stopping by! We did have fun on this trip and my actual birthday was really special. I felt so bad for Jay - he almost never gets sick but when he does it really knocks him flat (we both blame Norway).

We did get to meet Shovan and her hubby just before PFTS on 10/20 and we were lucky enough to share a table with them for the evening. Such a nice couple! We were planning to meet up with them on 10/24 for a F&W pairing at Coral Reef but I had to cancel it because there was no way Jason was going to be able to eat and enjoy the event. Oh well, something to look forward to on the next visit ... whenever that may be.

:yay: Love your food reports; looking forward to more!

Hey Jenny - thanks for popping in. I mentioned the dessert cleaves just for you even though they're not nearly as noticeable as they were in the picture from Ghiradelli. :rotfl2:

I should have known by the title that it was a Brenda trippy!

I'm glad your hubby is feeling better! What a bummer it is to get sick at Disney. Expecially during the F&W festival, when Epcot abounds with nummies.

I can't wait to see and read more, my mouth is watering already from looking at the burger and sundae.:goodvibes

Checking in, sir! :thumbsup2 I'm here to read and drool over your soon-to-be legendary TR. So far, so good. Yum.......

Your loyal groupie,
-Michelle

P.S. I hope Jay has recovered... at least until the credit card bill comes. LOL! :lmao:

Thanks so much. I have to admit it was a little frustrating at times because all I wanted to do was stuff my face with everything I saw while the mention of food was enough to turn Jay green. He was a good sport, though, and I just ordered stuff from room service or bought excess from the bakery in France and munched thorugh the night. I wonder if I picked up a Peruvian tapeworm at the festival???

I can't wait to see and read more, my mouth is watering already from looking at the burger and sundae.:goodvibes

Thanks for reading - I hope you enjoy the rest! :goodvibes

Hi Michelle! Good to hear from you!

Jay is feeling much better, thanks ... in fact he's vacuuming the kitchen floor as I type (what a man!).

I saw that you've started a food report, too - I'm going to have to get over there and check out the stuff we didn't get to try. And I can't wait to read about PFTS ... that should be in your other trippie, right?

Thanks for stopping by! :goodvibes

Subscribing...

I love food reports, and from what I've read so far, yours is witty and fun to read! I'm fairly new, so this is the first I've had the pleasure to read.

Looking forward to it! I'm headed to WDW in 35 days. Ooh, that's exactly five weeks from today! WOO HOOOOO

Katie

Yeah! Brenda is back with more tales of food, fun and cleavage! I am so looking forward to this!! (And the flashing for Ice cream continues!!) As addicted to Ice cream as DH is, he wouldn't even consider splitting a No way, Jose with me!

What a wonderful way to gear up for our trip in 19 days! Who knows? I may actually write reviews/reports when I return. I have Brenda as an inspiration!:worship:

Just found your trip report and saw this note... If you've never been, you've got to take a run to Crown Candy Kitchen if you are craving a great ice cream sundae. You won't regret it! The sundaes may not be as huge as B&C but they aren't quite as pricey. Homemade butterscotch, gooey hot fudge, ice creams, hand dipped malts served in the tin. ...

I'm looking forward to the next installment of your report!
