Okay, it is official!!! Katniss Everdeen is going to be played by Jennifer Lawrence, who I have no clue who she is. Like many other girls, I wanted to audition for the part of Katniss. But, guess it was too late.

Yeah, I've never heard of her either, but I prefer relatively unknown actors for this movie, particularly for Katniss. Anyway, hooray on some official casting news! Thanks, nickjonasobsessed!

Wow she is pretty! Ican't wait to see the movie! I really wish could play Katniss! Those books introduced me to the sport of shooting arrows and I love it!

I wish they would have chosen an actress who actually resembles the Katniss in the books, but Jennifer Lawrence is a really amazing actress so it should still be really spectacular....
