Hulk Express line

Don't remember this from before, but when I rode yesterday, the Express line just randomly fed into the regular line just before the last few turns of the ramp to the loading area.

ugh.

Folks were NOT happy I was being ushered into their line, and while I kindof get it, sorry, onsite perk. Three groups bunched up and wouldn't let me through, and the last one, this huge guy, pretty much trampled me to make sure I, little, lone person, didn't get in ahead of him.

If this is how it usually happens, then a cast member really needs to be more active in the process.

Anyway. Guess whose shoulders were too broad for the harness? Yup. Mr. Pushy didn't get to ride. Karma, dude.

I get why some people do others that way but if you stay onsite for the perk of unlimited express then they could have done the same and I have experienced the same thing you have glad mr pushy got what he deserved

During busy time a TM will control the traffic through there. They will rope off the regular line and let EP go in. Then close the EP and let regular go in. This was all done because some people complained that they cannot ride front row in the EP line.

If you want front get there early or wait like the rest, only fair. I normally get there at opening to ride hulk front row for a few spins.

Are the other Express rides like this as well? We're going next month, staying onsite, and I don't relish the idea of having to force myself & my kids past people who've been waiting in line for an hour because that's where the line merges.

When this happens make sure you let them know at guest services. You should not be getting pushed around when you are at the park. Fortunately, this is one of the few rides that is like this.

I had it happen last year when I rode Hulk..They need to keep a TM there all the time, even at slower times it pisses off people waiting on the standby lines.

The TM`s were really good last year when we were there.

There was a few in the regular queue once or twice who were not happy but the TM were taking no nonsense.

But for the amount of times we rode it.....a lot.......it was fine actually.

But yep they do need someone there all the time if people are getting bullied like that!!

I feel your pain. We endured a few unfortunate situations like that back in 2002.

When we went back in 2009, we did not. They had a TM at each ride to monitor the situation.

Honestly, I thought they learned their lesson and fixed the problem.

I'm sorry to hear that it is still going on.

If we encounter the problem on our upcoming trip, I will mention it to a TM. That, to me, is something that a guest should not have to deal with.

Got to say that we didn't like the change to the EP line at Hulk and hoped it might be temporary. Seems that it is obviously not, which is a shame. As the OP said, we had several instances where we got 'dirty' looks from people thinking we were cutting in line, Even at the times when a TM was there, they were doing little/nothing to actually stop the regular line so the EP line could feed in.
