Just got fare for June 6-8 for $137.50 per person on Delta out of MSP! I checked my November dates (Nov 15-19) and the fare was valid that fare in advance as well.

Jump on this before it's gone!!!!!!!

I also recommend looking into it before tonight ends...I have purchased these sales before from Delta out of philly and they only last about 12 hrs...

Not available at this time out of Philly for next Dec though...I'll keep checking though...they tend to roundrobin the airports when they start to have these sales...keeping my fingers crossed...

This is an excellent deal...fares have been running $270 and higher per person so I am very happy with this.

I'm so glad to see someone out there getting an excellent sale on airfare. Only wish it was us in the Wash. DC area too. Come on Delta, give us some spring airfare deals too!!

I'd appreciate a lower fare from Newark, too! I've been getting 272 for non-stop, 230 with a connecting flight for 10/31 - 11/4. Oy!

Not that I don't wish everyone else had a sale, but this is the first sale of this magnitude since August or so of last year out of MSP. We hardly ever see any sales due to NWA dominance up here. I have to say from reading the boards, you East Coasters seem to get in on more frequent deals than we do in the midwest. Hopefully, you will get in on the savings action soon too.

zulaya, Thank you so much for posting this. Right before I read your post I had just checked my Fare Watch in Travelocity and it was still telling me the lowest fare was $223. I guess maybe it takes awhile for the Fare Watches to update. Anyway, I just got done buying our Delta tickets for Christmas. I got exactly the dates and times I wanted. I would have preferred a direct flight but for $137.50 I don't mind one connection! Thanks again!!

Tell me about it! I was so tempted to buy tickets for June and November, but my pocketbook isn't stretching that far at the moment. I am just excited that it happened for all of us MN people. Glad you got Xmas flights! That's great!

I just got this e-mail from Travelocity, and was coming here to post this!!! It is valid even for my dates in December!

I got my tickets, $570 for 4 people in December. However, I was booking Friday to Saturday. Right before I hit place order, after I did the credit card info, I opened a new window just to check on flights for Sunday. I decided to stick with Saturday, so I closed the Sunday window, and my current window still said Saturday. I hit purchase, then it printed my confirm with tickets for Sunday! Hmph, I'm on hold, but my guess is I'm staying an extra day now.

Just to end my saga, after being on hold forever, they said they could void my ressie and I could make a new one. The nice guy on the phone waited while I made my new one, before he voided the old one. Then we chatted for a few minutes, and when he went to double check my new one, the price had gone up to $806! Thank goodness he hadn't cancelled my first one yet. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to stay until Sunday LOL.

Does the $137 include taxes/fees? Where are you getting this fare - web or delta phone rese? When did you all book at this price? It is Wednesday morning/noon right now and I just saw this this morning.... the best I can do at the web site is $188. Calling delta I can get 165.50... but only sun to wed or tues to fri. Was there certain days for the fare you got at $137? Do you think the sale is already done? Oh, I hope not!! I would book one vacation for hubby and I and one for whole family at that rate!!

Let me know... any help/advice appreciated!

Julie P. The $137 fares apparently had to be booked by 11:59pm March 18 (yesterday). Today the fares are still decent at $201.50. I looked for a Friday-Sunday trip and a Weds-Sat trip today and found that.

The $137 included taxes. I found it first on Orbitz and then booked direct on delta.com The $201.50 includes taxes as well.

I'm glad those who found this fair booked them....but like I said before Delta likes to do 24hr sales like this...our past trip in March I paid $133 for each of my 6 tickets...I surely dno't mind a 50min layover for that savings....

Zulaya,

Where did you find out they had to be booked by yesterday? I booked on Travelocity today, and the agent told me they had been ticketed by Delta and it cost me $570 for 4 people. Very interesting.

Erika - tell me more! Did you book on the travelocity site or with a phone agent? What do you mean booked with Delta - on Delta or booked through Delta?

Any help appreciated! DH and 3 yr old triplets and me makes five... might take Auntie to help with kids -- makes 6 and we are trying to talk another triplet family into going also - that makes 11 or 12.... so even $25 dollars a ticket is HUGE!

Julie,

I booked through Travelocity. At the time I got the fare watcher alert e-mail, Delta's website already said $201 each. But Travelocity was still giving me a cheap price. What I meant was that when you buy through Travelocity, there is a lag time until they get the ticket issued for you by the airlines (which is when the price changes can occur). I called Delta last night to confirm, and my tickets were indeed booked at the really cheap price. I have never flown Delta before, and never flown with a connection, but I just couldn't beat that price. Northwests cheapes prices was more than double what I paid. The lady on the phone at Delta was soooooooo nice.

If you haven't done so, I would sign up for Fare Watcher Alert at Travelocity. I have been signed up for years, and this is the first time I've ever booked a flight because of it, but it's definitely a nice thing!

I don't use Travelocity to book...I have had bad luck in the past with them getting the notice to me in time to use the fares that they mail with the Fare Watcher.

I saw the March 18 deadline on delta.com when I checked there to book directly. It had a link that said "Midwest Sale" and the fine print read, you must book by March 18.

If Travelocity actually gave you that deal, then good for you, maybe they have changed the way they operate. I just had one bad experience trying to book a sale fare from my Fare Watcher e-mail, and even though I was online at the time the Fare Watcher arrived, the sale fare wasn't even available when I went to Travelocity to do it.

I can see where you are coming from, as I didn't even get the fare watcher until the 19th! Like I said, this is the 1st time I've ever been able to get one. It must have been my lucky day or something (except the part about booking the wrong return day LOL). I was nervous, which is why I confirmed with Delty, but I was indeed charged $142.50 each.

Now when you go to Travelocity, the fare watcher for MSP to Orlando says $239 and they don't have anything listed for Delta under $279, and almost nothing at all out through December. Go figure.

Now if I can get National to be nice to me with my car rental reservation.

I was lucky to get the $137 rate for November for my husband & myself!!.
After I got that rate - I called one of our sons to tell him - two minutes after I hung up - he called back to say that they wanted to go & asked what he had to do - Delta line was busy - so he went on the internet. The price was still $137 - after making a couple of mistakes & having to start over - he finally got the names in & the price changed to $201. -- they were bumbed - he tried calling Delta again (this time the line wasn't busy) to see if they could help with the cheaper rate - NO luck!! They booked anyway at the higher rate!! This way yesterday (19th) between 8:30 & 9:00 A.M.
We are all looking forward to an 'unexpected' trip to WDW!!
Maybe, our granddaughter will get her 'first' haircut there just like her older sister did a couple of years ago - great memories of that!! :)
