Congratulations!!! I haven't posted yet on your TR thread, but I have enjoyed reading it for the past few months. Ya know, it ended like a novel that you don't want to end. I didn't expect to finish this report with happy tears streaming down my face!!!! I am so happy for you both!!!! That little peanut will be so loved, and how lucky to have such fun parents!! Thank you for sharing your adventure, Wendy.

kimbac3, thank you! I am feeling better now, although I have good days and bad. Of course, it's "good" bad days. At least I haven't been getting sick.

Cass, Dan weighed over 10 pounds when he was born. Don't worry about me, though. Most vegetarians don't have oversized babies! (And I think Peanut is adorable too! Thanks!)

Pollito916, thanks for the invite! I have been eyeing that thread, but didn't want to post anything until I announced it in my trip report.

sheridac, ma sista...those parts you are referring in the trip report were actually written before we knew. Now, many of the comments to people on the thread are a different story. And thanks for the congrats.

MARY-IN-OH, thanks for reading and posting! I love posts like yours. Dan and I think that we're the lucky ones. This will be one loved baby.

I had to post this time! Congratulations on the peanut! How exciting for you and Dan! I know personally how hard infertility can be and how difficult it can be to comprehend a "plus" sign. Enjoy of every minute of your pregnancy, it will go by faster than you think! How blessed this child is to have such fun, wonderful parents!

My heart ached for you when I read about the little girl on the monorail and now my heart is just so full with happiness for you!

HMHunters, you like that excuse? Actually, the nausea squelched my enthusiasm to be witty and creative. For a long time I did nothing but watch TV. Ask Dan. I was nothing but a lump on the couch.

Loubon, I made a promise to myself that I would NEVER drag a TR on for a year again. I wish I could have written it up sooner and finished it sooner...although I AM glad to have an epilogue that announced our little surprise! And you're right...Peanut DOES look a lot like Alberto. Hmm...

DISUNC, you are so sweet! That's a real heart-felt congratulations if I ever read one. Peanut is due around April 22. Not soon enough!!!

What wonderful news - congratulations to you both on your pregnancy!!! I checked back and now I see that we exchanged PM's on Sept 4 - after you had your positive pregnancy test, you sly girl! I sensed a positive outlook...now I know why!

You are embarking on a marvellous journey, and I do mean marvellous - so many miracles to marvel at...the changes in your body, the life growing within you, the growing closeness as you become parents together, the fierceness of love for your child...(OK, there are some other things like diapers, no sleep etc etc...but we'll save that for another time!).

No more sneaking into restaurants, you two...gotta set a good example now! Thanks for such a fun TR.
