Hubby wins, adopting 2nd dog

Per my previous post, we had our 16 year old dog put to sleep last month. We also have a 4 year old dog now. I said no more put he keeps assisting. I am giving in, he wins. We are now in the market for a 2nd shelter dog. Looked on Saturday but the 1 dog we saw was very cute but way to hyper for our Kallie. We always bring our dog with us so she can meet the new dog. As we are not in any rush, we will take our time and go to all the shelters we can in our area. We live on LI but got Kallie in Ct. last year.
