I am planning on buying the photopass upfront so we can enjoy our time and not have to worry about taking pics!!!

I will be sure to give you many pics to look at and detailed description of our magical trip!!!!

So here we are 4 days out and I am totally freaking out!!! I have made about 300 lists of things needed, to do, to have........:rotfl:

I have packed most of our things and I did end up rolling my clothing and let me tell you it works great! I have so much stuff inside that dang suitcase and there is still tons of room.

I have packed a carry-on size rolling suitcase with snacks, odds and ends. I figure that we can use it to bring back all the things I buy while we are there!!!

Dh who was not so into the Disney part of our trip is becoming very excited! He actually came home last night and told me he had been talking Disney with some guys at work and he was really excited to go. It makes me so HAPPY to know that he will soon be a DISNEY FREAK like me!!!!!:mickeyjum

I just ordered my photo pass cd and can't wait to take some pics with all the great characters!!! I always seem to not have enough good pics and I think with the photo pass I should end up with some really great ones.

I can't believe we are down to the last bit of it....

We just have to take our baby - Sadie :dogdance: to the pet resort she is going to be vacationing at on Monday and then we are headed to Seattle to stay the night so we can be up bright and early for our Tuesday morning flight!!!

I am so excited I could just POP!!!:jumping1:

I can't believe you are almost on your way ! Glad Dh is sharing in your excitement - that makes it more fun !! Can't wait to read the rest !

Well here goes nothing:

Day 1 (Tues 4/29) - We arrived in Orlando after a long long day of flying - we came from Seattle and had been up for what seemed like forever - our connecting flight from Chicago to Orlando was cancelled and rescheduled for 4 hours later so we decided to run across the airport to catch a different flight so we could get to Orlando early (Well the time we were suppost to be there in the 1st place) So once in Orlando our luggage was still in Chicago. So we went ahead and got our rental car and did a little crusing.
We went ahead and checked into our hotel - Ramada Inn on International Drive. Very nice, we were on the 11th floor and had a great view.

We went back to the airport at midnight and collected our luggage and then headed back to the hotel to get some sleep.

Day 2 - (Wed 4/30 - We woke up and headed to Universal Studios. We were at the gate about 20 mintues before opening time and they were already letting people in!!! We went straight ahead and rode the Hulk and Spiderman with NO WAIT!!! It was great. We were able to ride all the big rides and were completly done with Islands of Adventure by noon! I think this was due to the fact that The Simpson's ride is now open. So we upgraded our ticket so we could go over to the original Universal Studios. We waited in a fairly long line to ride The Simpsons!!! AWESOME!!!!:thumbsup2 We spent the rest of the day enjoying our day.

Here are some pics!!!

Day 3 - (Thurs 5/1) -

We woke up at a decent hour and headed out to Seaworld. Since dh is Active Duty Military we get a free day once a year to either Seaworld or Busch Gardens.
We arrived and rode Kraken a few times and then headed over the the Budweiser Building. We scheduled a time to do the beer tour and it was really great. They let you try 4 different types of new products and show you how they can be drank with different types of foods. If you get the chance due the tour!!! It is really great. Once we were done with the tour we went and enjoyed 2 free beers and sat on the beautiful patio enjoying the great weather. Make sure to catch the Believe show!

Here are some pics:

I just saw your post about Silver Lake and we must have been there at the same time. We were at Silver Lake May 2-9 in building 900 too, I think. If 900 is the last building on the left when you go out the back gate, then yes, we were in building 900.

I loved silver lake too and also found it through Armed Forces Vacation Club. We loved everything about it....decor, quiet, updated, and you can't beat how close we were to Disney property. I said to DGM Silver Lake has to be "the" closest off-property location to WDW. We will stay here again as well. DGM is already talking about booking another trip next May and getting 2 condo's for DB and his family.

Glad you enjoyed your trip!
