Wow!!!!! Ok so my hubby comes home today with my belated Moms day and xmas gift. I love it!!! He bought the lens I was wanting so that I would have enough zoom for the shots of our son sliding into 2nd base.....and the quick shots I took to try it out are AWESOME!!!!! I do most of my own printing and love the color and quality. no complaints from me so far.


Best part..........................NO LAG TIME!!!!! almost none existant.....
I followed a car down the street with the camera click click click...no blur!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I am a happy dis'er today!

Cannot wait til my son's practice tomorrow so I can take some more shots with it!!

You will love, love, love that camera!!! My husband bought one for me last month for my birthday and it is just incredible! We got a new puppy two days ago, and I got some fantastic shots of the puppy running toward me by putting in the continuous shooting mode.

Also, about an hour ago, I saw my daughter off to prom and while all the parents were taking pictures, one of the Mom's complained about the lag time of her digital camera. My daughter's date commented that there is this new camera out that is 8 megapixels and has virtually no lag time. My daughter looks at him and says, "That's the camera that my mother is using right now!" Her date thought it was really cool that I had that camera.

I can't wait to use the camera next school year for taking pictures of my daughter on the field during the half-time show (I got the Canon lens kit and have added the 200mm Quantary zoom) and also during her swim meets in the winter. I might actually be able to get a shot where you can tell it is her swimming!

I got the XT a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it! I have been having so much fun playing with it. I also just ordered a new flash and can't wait for that to be in so that I can start learning to use that too.

What a camera....I cannot wait for this afternoon so that I can try it out on some action shots without having to prefocus on an area, then wait for my son to hopefully arrive in that area to snap a pic...I should be able to follow him right down the baseline and snap it now....oh yeah!!!! fingers crossed!!!
