I am normally very patient.

But I have been hitting the "Submit Edit" button over and over again from 1935 until 2055 while, of course, watching my WebTV.

Is this happening to everyone?

I prefer not to start a new thread by copying and pasting my thread to a new thread.

Hey, Ray. Yep, it is happening to everyone. This is another symptom of the overall software / database issues with the boards right now and will probably continue to be a problem until those problems are fixed. They are working on them.

I've noticed that although I very rarely get any response when I hit Sumbit Now after editing one of my posts, usually the edit has gone through anyway. I'll normally hit the Sumbit Now, wait about 10 - 15 seconds and then go back to the thread. Almost every time, the edit has already been added to the post. Give it a try.

If your edits are not going through at all, it could be that the thread itself is messed up. There have been quite a few threads that, although not locked, are not accepting any new replies to them. It is possible that these same threads may not allow posts to be edited either. If that is the case, your only option may be to copy and paste and start a new thread. If you have to do that, you can add a link to the old thread in the new thread so people can reference it as well.

Also, as you've probably already noticed, HTML tags don't work in the thread titles.
