HS lot full at 5:00 tonite???

Was driving to meet friends at HS to see lights later tonight and my CM friend said they were already diverting traffic from HS to Epcot at 12pm today.

I read reports of the lot being closed at 12PM yesterday. I went at 3PM and had no issues getting in. Later that night, someone said the lot was closed again and they had to bus from Epcot. Just wanted to report since it seems like once the lot is closed, it doesn't stay closed.

We just left Hollywood Studios about 15 minutes ago. Signs were directing people to park at Epcot, saying the lot was full. But the entire Film lot was empty. So I have no idea why they're closing it so early.

So glad we cancelled our Christmas plans. Our trip to New York will be a lot more relaxing than fighting the crowds at Disney.

Wow. We are planning on going to HS on Tuesday - getting there around 11. If we can't park I won't go. Do not want to deal with transportation that night. Guessing I should cancel my ADRs in case we need to skip HS. Will be sad to miss the lights but this is just nuts!
