HS fantasmic plan

My DH and I are heading to WDW for our 10 year and will be starting at HS for my DH's favorite Fantasmic. It is an evening EMH and I'm trying to determine what will give us the most for our buck. Going to the 9 pm show and riding rides afterwards for a short time. Going to the 1030 show and riding rides until then. We don't mind waiting in line or not having the best seats as we've seen it many times.

My choice would be the 10:30 show - arrive 10 minutes or so before it starts and you should be fine.

If you're ok with not having great seats on not waiting as long, I'd see the first showing and ride until closing. How late are the EMH?
