Hi all,

We are planning a trip in October, 2014. It'll be 5 (maybe 6) adults. Parents plus adult children and significant others. I am considering a Deluxe 2 Queen room with a pull out sofa. Anyone slept on one of those? I surely don't want an uncomfortable mattress after a day in the parks. Insights into that size of room for 6 adults would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

You can only put a max of 5 guests in the deluxe room. There is a $25/night charge for EACH adult more than 2. So with 5 adults you will be adding $75 on to the regular nightly fee.

At the Portofino, the pullouts in the suites are brand new and apparently quite comfortable.

The only rooms that you can have more than 5 adults are the suites over at Portofino.

The one in our deluxe queen room at HRH in June was awful. My 17 year old slept on it, and it had a huge sinking hole in the mattress/box spring. It was so uncomfortable that he took the mattress off the sofa bed and just put it on the floor to sleep.

We did tell the front desk how bad the mattress was, and mentioned it on the survey. It was obvious that the sofa bed was very well used and abused.

For your other question about room size in the deluxe queen room, it was great for our family of 4. I would equate it to about 1 1/2 of the regular rooms at HRH.
