As promised.... here are some photos of our Kids Suite at the Hard Rock. We were on the 6th floor right around the corner from the elevator (no noise from it though, lots of noise from kids running thru the hallways, but that is every where these days)

Anyway....

The front door and a large walk in closet. This is where the safe is located. The foyer was large as later photos will show...

with my back to the front door... you see the main bathroom and the turn to the right towards the bedroom... the mini bar is also in the shot...

I loved this curved wall. It just made you feel giddy as you walked it... I loved it.

At the end of the curve you see the living room...

Another shot of the sitting area. THe couch pulled out, and I will admit it was a bit run down and sunken in places. No biggy for us... And I also wanted to note my lovely blue jean jacket on the chair (with the checked lining) I left it on SWA Ft 107 on Dec 22nd and it has yet to turn up. Sucks.. first gift my DH ever gave me for Christmas. ah well... at least I have a photo of it on it's last trip to US/IOA/WDW.... lol

Continuing around, here is the door to the 'kids room'

followed by the main entertaiment center which included a TV and a awesome CD player (gotta be able to play the CD they give you) And pay no attention to the cocktails provided by the Velvet Lounge. Great staff there, even when your carrying out! lol

I wish I had taken some photos of the walkway between HRH and US/IOA. The walk is lovely. Just lovely. One of our favorite parts of the day.

Anyway.... anyone have any questions???

Great pics! That is the same set up we had last Jan for DSs 16th birthday trip, except that the kid's room did not have a separate door into the bathroom - they had to come back through the main room to get to it. We felt that the tiled, curved 'hallway' into the room (cool as it looked!) carried every sound from the main hallway right into our room - we could hear every word everyone passing said even from behind the wall when in bed. I was wondering if our conversations from in the room were carrying out into the main hallway as well :earseek: ! I loved the big walk-in closet and used it as a dressing room since I was travelling with teenage boys - lots of room in there! Looks like you had a great trip. :smooth:

Great pictures! Thanks for posting them! I am hoping to book a kids suite on our next trip!

I have a few ????'s// First did you book the kids suite upfront or upgrade at Checkin?
And also did you have club access with your suite? Thanks for teh pictures they were great!!

We booked it a little over a month ahead of time. We did not have club access but I dont know if that is something you can add on once your at the hotel.

We loved HRH and we cant wait to stay there again in October!

I've stayed in a few kids suites at HRH and just wanted everyone to know that the one on club has a lot more wear and tear. The water pressure is also very bad there in the club one. Many other items were very dirty and stained looking in the club, so much that I wanted NOT to be on Club. Also the animals were missing from the kids beds in club.

Looking at the pictures posted I'm wondering if the Kid's Suite is the same as a King Suite with a kid's room attached. I have a King Suite booked, any chance it has an additional kid's room next door that they might be able to upgrade me to? Well, if they don't I'm still happy with my suite, thanks. :cool1:

The kids suite we were in was in no way a 'lock off' where you could add or subtract the kids portion. Sorry. You may want to see what it would cost to upgrade to a kidsuite when you arrive...

I've stayed in two kids suites and they both had two bathrooms (but 1 toilet). One was on the kids floor and the other I can't remember (sorry).

What's the max occupancy for this suite? I'd love to stay onsite at Universal again, but finding room for all 6 of us (4 kids) looks to be a challenge.
And what's the usual cost for the kids' suite (a ballpark range is fine)?
Thanks in advance!

My dogs loved it last October. They would sit on the canal :dog: :dog: and watch the boats:boat: go by. The people on the boats would wave :wave2:

I am not sure if the kids suite sleeps 6, we are a family of 5.... I belive we coughed up around $400 for the room... give or take.

Those are PERFECT! Thank you so much for posting these!
We are considering it in a few years- 3 to be exact ;)
These pretty much seal the decision!
