I will post a full trip report in the next few days. We just got back tonight after spending 2 nights at HRH Club level. There was an incident and they handled it so well. Last night (or this morning rather!) I was awoken by TWO separate groups shouting and carrying on in the hall way. The first group was just really loud and woke me up. They were talking and laughing, it was probably around 2 am (I glanced at the clock but didn't have my glasses on). I was almost back asleep and then what I think must have been the cast of the show "Jersey Shore" (I only saw the show once and that was enough, lol)was in front of my door shouting and talking about some fight they had engaged in and laughing, etc. This went on for about 10 minutes, seriously. I knew better than to go out there and I didn't call down stairs, I figured that would prolong the chaos. But, when I went to check out in the morning I mentioned the loud groups and I really didn't expect anything, I really just asked if anyone had called down about it. Well, she apologized and said "how about I take half off last night's stay?" I said, well, I didn't expect that but sure.
That is customer service, I'll tell you. I was nice about it and didn't have an attitude and honestly didn't expect anything.
On a side note, what is wrong with people? I mean, its in the middle of the night and you know people are sleeping, why would you be so thoughtless? I mean, these were adults, not rowdy teenagers. All the kids and teens I encountered were very polite and nice.
