We are still trying to decide where to stay in May during our visit to US. While I prefer off-site because of cost, my dh and ds12 prefer HRH. Can a family of 5 stay in one of the standard rooms or do we have to book a more expensive room? Since we are going on a Disney cruise following US, I am trying to minimize the cost of the hotel.

Also, we are AAA members. I'm assuming this is probably the best rate we will get. But when I check the price on the AAA website, it is the same as the cost of HRH on their website. Do I need to call HRH directly to get the AAA discount?:confused3

Thank you for your help.

it says that the standard room you can have up to 5 but I would imangine that it will be crowded and if your not finding aaa rates I would go to the aaa site cause our days for july is not showing aaa rates but on the aaa site it shows some lower rates and if that is still not working then go ahead and give them a call it couldn't hurt.

I would call and ask for the aaa rate. We are a family of 5 and fit into a standard size room. how many nights are you going to be there? what are the ages?

I would reccomend a deluxe queen room if there not too much more then a standard. It gives you 500sq feet as opposed to 375. You have more space to put your luggage, you get a pull out sofa and two queen beds.

I stayed with 3 friends in one this past October and it was perfect. I only have one somewhat deccent pic of the room if it helps but you can view the floorplans on the Universal or Lowes website.
