Can you guys give me the scoop on this place? What characters are there these days? Is the food any good? Any help woud be appreciated

I have only been for breakfast. It had Leo June, Jojo and Goliath. The food was OK, but probably the worst character breakfast food we had all week. That said, we are going back on this trip. Mostly to get into the park early.

We also had the worst food in all of the character (well we ate at Boma every day when not doing character dining) so it was our worst breakfast on our 21 night stay, food wise.

I've never been to Hollywood and Vine and would really like to hear what its like. We are thinking of going there on our upcoming trip.

I personally did not like this character meal at all. The food was very bland. We were there for lunch. Of all the meals that I have had at WDW since using the dining plan, I would rate this as the worst. However, DD4 seemed to like the character interaction and that was important to us.

I'm sorry to tell you but I think this was the worst food out of our whole trip last year!

We went for lunch to see June and Leo. The Character part was worth it. They do a cute thing where the kids go up and dance.

After that I was really sad we had to eat there again that week, we booked a dinner to get the fantasmic entrance.

If you are interested in the characters that are there, then go. I've eaten there around 5 times and I am done..I don't like the food at all.

Have to agree with all the others, this was the worst buffet in all Disney. We will never go back again. The food was very institutional.

I guess I'm in the minority by saying we had a good experience here for breakfast. Though this was 2 years ago, it was the height of the Little Einsteins popularity and was really fun for my DD. The character interaction was awesome as well as the energy of the dancing, etc.
I agree the food is somewhat "institutional" but really for us, DD ate cereal and yogurt and a pastry anyway, so it was fine.

It was really cool to get into then MGM, now DHS first thing in the am.

I would say go for the experience, not the food and you will be fine if those are the characters your kids would have fun with.

Do you remember if they had waffles or pancakes ?

My kids love Mickey waffles, we have them lots and honestly I can't recall if they had them, but I looked at the menu for H&V breakfast on allears and they did have Mickey waffles listed on the menu as part of the buffet.
Usually most of the breakfast buffets (not family style) have waffles and pancakes to offer. Hope this helps...
