Acutally, it's all part of the true magic users anti-muggle conspiracy. They were very upset that JKR shined such a spotlight on them and they bewitched the Universal folks into creating such an aggravating experience that they hope it will turn the muggles away and let them return to their nefarious activites under the cloak of secrecy. We were there on the 14th of Dec and after 4 in the afternoon, FJ had a 10 min wait and the other rides were walk on. Not crowded at all...
