Who else agrees that Snape's death wouldn't have been so sad if it wasn't for The Prince's Tale?

I think Snapes back story definitely made me have a heart for him(for once) I've always been skeptical.

Haha I lost my fire for it for a while but as soon as I picked it up I had to read it. Even though I got confused. A lot. So I reread HBP. and then reread DH. (at least parts of it)

I know what you mean.
It was like that for me with HBP.
The first chapter with the Ministers was so boring.
I wasn't interested in reading it at all!
It took me a week to get through the first chapter of HBP because of that stupid chapter!

I almost cried reading that.
And I even almost cried when he actually died before even reading it!

Yeah, I heard about that. It was pretty cool.

I was angry when Snape killed Dumbledore because I really loved him.
But I was still sure he was good. I probably wouldn't have been so sad if I hadn't heard about him loving Lilly and trying to protect Harry and the whole eye's thing...
But it still would've been sad.
I would've been sad if Malfoy died.

When I found out that Snape killed him I was so sure that Snape was evil. XD

so was I!

I'm not very happy with him right now, but that's because I haven't finished DH. I know that deep down he's a good guy...but I have my doubts at the moment. xD

It almost made me want Snape to be Harry's father!
Just so Snape could be happy for once.

Nope. I didn't like Snape, I still don't really like him. Snape and Lily wouldn't have worked out, in my opinion. James and Lily are so cute together though.

I don't think Lily/Snape would have worked out either, but I actually felt something for Snape after learning about him.

I love Lupin and Sirius though.

Yeah. I think that's pretty much all Lily ever felt either, compassion.

I really hated Snape in the first book. like HATED him.
When the Dumbledore thing happened, I just figured he did it because he had to

McGonagall/Dumbledore could have worked.. maybe. I can see it. Weird tension there- but I could be imagining it!

Anyways, I didn't ever really like Snape at all.
He was just...bleh.
Yeah, I felt sorry for him after reading The Prince's Tale...but to me he was still a creeper.
