How's the subway

Isn't there a subway up Harbor before Katella? How is it? On the expensive side or decent?

Subway was fine if a bit crowded. Someone at our hotel said the burger place was good but I didn't try it. I had a car so I got Buca di Beppo take out one night. It is on Harbor about a mile south of Katella.

There's also a Quizno's in the Carousel motel, a couple of doors up from the main crosswalk at Harbor. DW and I would occasionally buy a foot-long before going into the parks, and split it for lunch. More than enough for two!

And the prices are pretty reasonable? And it's not just for the guests there?

Yes, the prices are very reasonable. About what you'd expect for a sandwich shop like Quizno's or Subway. And although they're on Carousel property, it's a separate shop. They don't care where you're staying. Friendly staff, too.

We LOVE that Subway! It's always busy so the bread is always super fresh!

The prices there are no more than the one by my house!

The Subway was great when we walked down there last year, but I remember thinking we should have bought drinks somewhere else. I think we just ended up buying milk for the kids and DH & I drank bottled water from our car. Not sure where to buy cheaper drinks though.....maybe a hotel vending machine?

GREAT!!! We are staying at HOJO and will have our own stock of drinks!! I just LOVE subway and wanted to see if that location was acceptable to those who have been
