How's everyone enjoying the sun this weekend?

I've been working this morning and just about to watch the F1Qualifying but I've managed 15 minutes in the sun. Tomorrow will be lunch with friends in the sun.

I don't begrudge the 2 day public holidays for the jubilee but can't help but wish that we were having our usual Late Spring Bank Holiday this weekend with the weather as it is.

Me & DH booked this week off from work, so we're feeling somewhat pleased about that. Normally it rains on our week off.

Today we headed over to Drayton Manor for the day and it was fabulous walking around in the sunshine! If I closed my eyes and tried real hard I almost believed I was back in WDW

I'm a little burnt now but it was so worth it walking around in shorts.

Loving the Sun..luckily I also had some time off this week.. I don't do SUN so have been sitting in the shade and its been bliss. When I say I don't do SUN I only mean in this country, I do it in Orlando..

Same here! Been off since tuesday midday, my garden and house has never looked so clean! And definitely with you on the sun - i don't do UK sun, only florida sun

Today was spent de-weeding the front garden, even though it has a weed mat down, go figure, and tomorrow will be spent over at a friends working on their garden railway construction

OMG soooo loving this sun. I've been working all week but came home Wednesday and Thursday and did all the gardening so today I've been sitting on my back side out in my garden We just had a fab BBQ dinner and now i'm looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow

I said the same thing yesterday - I really wish we had our usual bank holiday.

I am probably the only person who really doesn't want the extra bank holiday - don't get me wrong I will love having DH at home an extra day and he gets extra time with DD but at work we operate on a results only basis - and I only have a week after before heading to WDW meaning I will only have one and bit weeks to do a whole months work

I was at the big Tescos this morning - I just love being in the hot carpark with the sun reflecting off the cars it reminds me of parking at Epcot.

We've had a lovely family weekend, we went to Southampton yesterday, stayed over and hit Bournemouth beach this morning. I'm loving this weather, and am already not looking forward to when it goes

Spent the day in a friend's garden doing construction work on their railway... best way to spend a hot sunday!

Off tomorrow so if we're up early enough we're going to hit the coast down at Margate

we went to a 30th party on saturday night, no drinkies for me as I was working sunday, yesterday we had a bbq late afternoon after work, had sil bil around to discuss/plan our florida roadtrip! back to reality today,back to work again

dd had a birthday party on Saturday so we didn't get up to much, just a bit of shopping (food and craft bits as the children have to make crowns for Friday at school).

Was working all day yesterday and it was so, so busy and customers were generally grumpy and awful so not very enjoyable. By the time I finished at 5 o'clock, had some dinner and a bath I was ready for bed and then this morning found myself awake at 3.30!

I've got one day off for the Jubilee weekend (Tuesday) although I'm being put under pressure to work the late shift (6-10pm). I've said no 4 times now (I'm already working all day Sunday and Monday so I think having Tuesday off is fair). Sorry, didn't mean to rant!

I had to work the whole weekend in an ambulance with the air con not working so it wasn't pleasant especially as people seem to go silly with alcohol in the heat then call us.

I'm glad i'm off for 2 days then on holiday next week
