I am actually a big fan of Howard, but I find this amusing and ironic.

But, it's his DD, I say "All the power to ya girl" Wonder if she will go on his show and take her clothes off for Howie and his friends? Then he could talk about what a great set of _______ she has and ask if he can touch them. Oh wait, it's different when it is other people's daughters, right? (insert big rolleyes)

last nite on larry king he said that she actualy quit the play before this "news" hit the media-she had a verbal agreement that they would not single her out for promotional purposes as "howard stern's daughter". they did so she stood her ground and quit. he said he did'nt care one way or another about her being nude (it was within the context of the play) and he was proud she stood up for herself.

I guess I see a huge distinction between appearing nude in a play (for artistic purposes), and what Howard does with topless girls on his show. Kudos to her for sticking her ground, though.

Wow, that is harsh. I find HS's 14 yo boy mentality act lacking, but I would never wish anything negative against him or his family members.

I have to say, I think this is a great PR stunt. I don't believe for a minute that Emily Stern doesn't want the notoriety that comes with her fathers name or she would have chosen a different stage name. And I do not believe that she isn't savvy enough to know (or hasn't been advised) that her abrupt departure from this play would cause even more publicity. I mean, did anyone even know that she was an stage actress until this hit the news? We do now. She got what she was looking for, IMO, the limelight cast on her up-and-coming acting career. Hopefully she has the talent to step outside of her fathers shadow and make a name for herself, on her own merit.

I was thinking the same thing. I find, given no legitimate basis for judgement, as is the case here, it is far superior to assume the best of people than assuming the worst.
