Hi eeyoresmom,
My wife and I stayed at the Hojo on Hawaiin court Dec. 7th-10th when we visited Universal before moving on to WL at Disney. The place is a basic motel. The rooms were clean, but very basically decorated, mainly just white walls. We did have some nice little amenities like a coffee maker, and an in room safe. There is a pool and a jacuzzi, however we didn't get to see it as it was mainly raining while we were there. They have a continental breakfast, but really quite basic(cheerios or frosted flakes, basket full of banannas and apples, and a little coffee cake). We only paid 29 bucks each night, so for what we got it was just fine. One thing we really liked was that it only took a few minutes to get to Universal, and it is at the southern end of I-Drive, so it was far less crowded. Can't remember how long it took to get to Disney, but certainly less than 30 minutes.
If you want something really basic, than this isn't a bad place, as stated, our room was clean. Hope this helps!!
