How would you spend a day at Epcot?

Am I alone or with children?

If I were alone - I would spend the whole day in the World Showcase, and going through each country very slow. I would eat at whatever country I was at during dinner time. :thumbsup2

I agree, who am I and who is with me? Alone I head see Ellen and the Living Seas then slowly cruise the WS with champagne from France in hand. Either sit down at Marrakesh or Teppanyaki for a good show then hang out and watch Illuminations. With kids, I spend most of my time on rides and stake out a good spot for Illuminations with Fish and Chips to go.

First I'd visit with Crush then spend the rest of the day exploring each country. Shopping and eating through each one. :thumbsup2

After park opening, I'd get a FastPass for Soarin', then ride Nemo and Mission: Space (and play the Mission Space Race game!) while waiting for the time. Then, I'd get a FP for Test Track and head over to ride Soarin'. Spaceship Earth and a few other random things until World Showcase opened, then for breakfast a fruit tart from the bakery in Norway. Ride on Maelstrom, then back to TT. Then I'd wander around Innoventions, maybe do some shopping in Mouse Gear, then start a trip around the world in Canada. I'd have a burger or something like that for lunch, then go to Japan for the Kaki-Gori frozen ice. More shopping, random rides and shows, whatever I felt like doing until dinner at Alfredo's. Then, IllumiNations to end it all.

right with you ... never done Epcot without kids, but if I did , it would be non-stop World Showcase. I'd stop in each country and eat/drink every step of the way.

You are with DH and DS (almost 11). :)

We have learned to take a 2 day Epcot stay. We just cannot do Epcot in a day. My kids are IN LOVE with WS and so are we...and they could spend all day in the Innoventions buildings...really...all day...they love it that much. They only go to the MK because I make them...!!:rolleyes1

I had one day, all by myself at Epcot last year. It was the best day I ever spent in WDW!

I don't remember exactly what time I got there but I think it was about 10:30a.m. or so. I went through the front gates and through to the World Showcase. I started on the left hand side and wound my way around, stopping in each country and seeing the attraction or riding the ride as I went.

I am not a big shopper so I didn't shop that much. I stopped in the American pavilion to get my picture done with Santa.

I stopped in the UK to get fish & Chips, watch the Beatles tribute band and have my picture taken with Tigger and Pooh Bear :goodvibes

Then, I moved on to see the band Off Kilter in between UK and Canada. They are very good - I would recommend seeing them!

On the way out, I went to something I can't remember the name of but it was a ride with Ellen Degeneros (sp?) as the 'host' and I remember Bill Nye the Science Guy too. It was ok.

I arrived back at the Port Orleans Riverside at about 5:30pm but that included about 15 minutes spent waiting at the bus when a women was screaming at a driver about the wheelchair access and other issues she had with WDW.
