DH and I will be in Orlando December 22-26 for our honeymoon. DH has never been to Disney, and I've only been to WDW once before, for one day, and all I saw was MK.

We're arriving at MCO at 9:15am, and will head to our hotel from there. Since we'll be there way before check in time, I'm going to see if they'll hold our luggage for us. Then we want to head out to the parks.

We're coming back home at 3 in the afternoon on the 26th, so we probably won't go to any parks that day.

That leaves us with much of the day on the 22nd, and all day on the 23rd, 24th and 25th. How and where should we schedule our time?

I'd probably head out to Epcot first, since you'll already have a late start. Epcot seems to absorb the crowds better than the other parks. My experience is that Future World is not terribly crowded after 5 and many attractions, such as Spaceship Earth, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Test Track and Mission Space are open until 9. So do one side of Future World before 11, go to World SHowcase until 5, return to Future World and finsish up. I'd recommend dinner at the Living Seas if you like seafood... it's pricey, but good. Be sure to get a priority seating.

I"ve never been during peak season, but I'd imagine you'll hit a lot of crowds, so use your Fast Passes as much as possible. Try and get to the parks for park openning, too.

You might split a day betwen Animal Kingdom (morning) and MGM (afternoon), hitting a few attractions that interest you. I'd recommend doing the Fantasmic Dinner package so that you won't have to spend so much time lining up for Fantasmic.

The day you do Magic Kingdom try and see the Spectromagic parade and Wishes, the new fireworks show. And start with Fantasyland.. it will be very crowded by lunchtime, so you'll want to get that out of the way ASAP.

I would go to MGM or MK on the first day. I think you will want to save Epcot for the later in the trip. It would be a nice park to go to on Christmas Day since MK would be too crowded and Epcot is so much bigger. Whenever you go to Epcot, make sure to spend some time at World Showcase. It's the most romantic place in WDW. Epcot is a nice park to go to midway through your trip, as World Showcase doesn't feel like a theme park.

If you're staying on-site and will be up early, take advantage of the Early Entry program. If you won't be using EE, definitely follow the Day After agenda. Go to the park the Day AFTER it has had early entry. Many people will be in that park the day before so it should be a little less crowded. Early Entry is scheduled for Monday at AK, Tuesday at MGM, Wednesday at Epcot and Thursday at MK. Now that could change for Christmas Day, as it appears that is what they are doing for Thanksgiving, making MK's EE on Weds. and Epcot's on Thursday.

Make sure you tell the staff at your hotel that it is your honeymoon, and enjoy!!

Hi

My DH2B and I are also planning our honeymoon at WDW. We took our kids there last spring and saw so much that we missed when we look back. We are SO exited to be able to concentrate on having fun and not worrying where the nearest bathroom is!

On your first day you'll have no problem visiting any one of the parks. But since you'll likely be tired from your journey Id see how MGM looks. It has a lot of atractions that dont involve as much standing and walking. But remember not to be set in stone on your plan. OUr plan was like concrete and on hindsight we should have adjusted our plan according to the weather. It was rainy and cold when we saw EPCOT and much of the world showcase was closed up. MK would have been better on that day. And the day we saw AK it was hot as blazes and the animals were lazy and we were cranky from the heat. MGM or EPCOT would have been better that day. Weird weather it was 59 one day and 98 the next.

just remember to relax and enjoy!
