How would you plan this?

On my upcoming trip I will be arriving with my kids 4 days prior to dh's arrival. (That was my compromise with my disney hating dh )

So on his arrival day (sunday) the plan is MK - crowd level 5 (park open until 10). He's arriving around 4 PM, so I'll be at the park with my kids before. We most likely will not make RD because we're doing a split stay and that's the transfer day. DH and I are planning a date night in MK that evening as well.

I would like to schedule FP+ for the morning/midday for me and the kids for the attractions we'd like to go on.

Also it would be great if I could schedule FP+ for the evening with DH.

Is there any leniency for me booking FP+ for my kids and not for myself but still getting on the rides with them since they're too young to ride by themselves?

Or is my only option to book FP+ for me and the kids for the morning/midday and book FP+ for DH for the evening and hope i can schedule extra ones to meet up with his (albeit one at a time?)

This is your only option. You should go to a kiosk as soon as you have used your third FP and try to pick up a FP that is overlapping one of your husband's.
