How will you or did you decorate your room @ Disney for Christmas trips?

Could someone who has decorated their balcony with lights tell me how long a strand of lights they used and whether or not there is an outlet on the balcony? We will be at the AKL for Christmas this year. Thanks.

Last December was the first time Mom & I were there for the holiday season. Although we weren't there for xmas, we brought stockings I had bought with our names on it (hers with Eeyore and mine with Tigger) and hung them on the dresser knobs. Prior to our vacation I bought one small disney ornament for each day we would be there. Mom had no idea I had done this. Then, since I was always the last one out of the room I would stick one in Mom's stocking. Each day when we arrived back to the room she would go directly to the stocking to see what had been left for her. Mom was like a little kid....but then again, aren't we all at WDW. :D

We also wore Mickey Santa hats during our stay.

We will be staying in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness December 19-29. I am planning on bringing a prelighted tree. I would like to find a pencil style tree, if possible. Last year I packed all our Disney ornaments, wreaths, and stockings separately from all the other Christmas decorations. We will have a tree, stockings, and wreaths. I also hope to have Christmas lights around the deck at the cabin. I am looking for ideas on how to hang the lights around the deck.

We were at the Boardwalk villas last year. Everyone there got a red gift bag of little goodies left outside the door on Christmas morning.

I am so excited about Christmas at Disney World! We will be there for 5 nights. My daughter is driving up with my Mom on Christmas Eve and they are staying 2 nights. I'm going to decorate their rooms too! We are going to the Candlelight Processional on Christmas Day.

Happy Holidays!

I can't even remember what was in the bag! I guess it wasn't much. I know there wasn't an ornament or anything like that, maybe some candies. We were surprised and happy to get it though!
 :p

I was on the Inn side and it was one of those Disney chocolate balls filled with hard candy and that comes in a box along with some small little chocolates.

We stayed at POR and All Star Sport and it was a big stocking with candy and miniature mickeys.

Yesterday I went a great craft show at my sons high school. I bought a beautiful, 3ft. pencil tree. It is decorated with berries, bows and little tin ornaments. I t will look great in our room at WL. We are also taking our stockings,a little nativity and a few other decorations. I cant wait!:Pinkbounc

Thanks Pigsty333!

I was at Target today and they had a Disney Princess tree, it had some ornaments with it and some accessories you could purchase seperately. I believe it was 3 or 4ft.
