Oh Dan.

One of my greatest leisure activities is grabbing a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning, sitting down at the computer, opening one of your picture threads and sitting back and relaxing and smiling to the beautiful memories you share with all of us. I really look forward to doing that. Who knew that this Sunday I would be looking at such a bittersweet picture thread.

I think is was a very touching and loving tribute. I'm sure it would make Beverly Lynn proud and it would make her smile. Thank you for sharing your memories of Beverly Lynn with us. Yup, that's how I would like to be remembered some day ... as someone who loved to laugh and who was a great friend and loved by many. Thanks again, Dan. {{{{Hugs}}}}}

Olena (Heather) posted a few more pictures of Beverly and Aryn on the first
page. Those are from September, '01, about a week or so after 9/11.
What a blur that trip was. I think I missed this as I had some deleted from that time and
that goofs up the ordering
in my catalog software, LOL. I thank you so much,
Heather, for posting those and jogging this old brain of mine. I reposted
a couple of them, just a little higher quality with the original files here,
plus a few others that I thought were pretty neat from that trip.

Here we are, having lunch at Le Cellier, Aryn diligently working on her
coloring (I think she wants it to look perfect), Beverly enjoying, what, maybe
that great cheese soup?

And how I missed this one I will never know, enough to melt any grandpa's
heart.

After lunch, the always needed group shot, from left, Ray Sharpton (miss you
too Ray), Olena, John-Cole, John, Beauty (Beth), another DIS'er who became VERY
good real life friends with Beverly, and holding Aryn, Beverly, Perndwlr (Robin), one of the
really nice DIS'ers from the Collectors board here, and myself. I think
Heather's DH, Chris, was taking the picture.

I think this is now another day, over at Magic Kingdom, and a really cute one
of little Aryn. What a smile!!!!!

Well, when being a mom, all is not smiles, right moms??? Here Beverly
gives her opinion on something, LOL, to somebody. Maybe me?? Heather
and Chris do an abrupt about face.

Beverly getting her morning shooting in over at Buzz Lightyear, Pern (I
always call her Pern rather than Robin, LOL), either giving or getting
directions. Heather and Chris ahead (or is it behind??) and Aryn and
John-Cole in the other car.

And lastly, we had another neat breakfast at Chef Mickey's with a really nice
group. Here is the DD, Rachel, of one of the DIS lurkers, 1DizzyDi (Diane)
(are you still out there, Diane??) and Aryn. Rachel and Aryn, a couple
real DIS cuties. Aren't they?

And, as always, that group shot. Here, my buddy, Uncle Kyle (Kyle), who
was in the college cast member program at the time, Heather (doing flag signals
up on the bench), Aryn, Beverly, John-Cole, Pern, Beth, Harley Chick (Cody)
(another really neat DIS'er I so enjoy seeing at WDW) and her hubby, Donny, Ray
Sharpton and me.
So there you have it. I think that is all I have, and again, thanks,
Olena, for jogging the cobwebs this AM. Beverly was, well, she was BL.
Keep us cool, Beverly.

It just breaks my heart that yet another young life has been cut short.

There were so many things that BL was looking foward to, her upcoming "mommy and me" trip to WDW, her continuing weight loss, buying "skinny jeans" and just enjoying life in general.

It's just so unfair.

I too was at the Spoodles meet (you caught me in one of those pictures) and it was the only time I met BL in person... since that time I got to know her a lot better although we haven't spoken as much in recent months... I will miss her greatly... and I'm angry today that she is gone....



Just an FYI - I could only view the 1st half of page 1 then I would get locked up (on a dial up) each time... I will try to see the rest on a direct connection later tonight.
