HOW WILL me WORK???--not FLYING OUT AFTER LEAVING PARKS--MEETING SOMEONE AT AIRPORT

Figured someone here would know and could help. We will be needing to take ME back to the airport on our return but will not be flying out. We will be meeting up with my folks around the time of their arriving flight and will be heading to a different destination in Florida which a towncar company will be taking us to.

Their flight gets in at around 6:41 pm. What time would we have to request for ME to pick us up. I'm hoping not the 3 hours before a flight that they have to pick everyone else up for. Can we just request our own time-- say an hour before their flight???

How long would it take us to get to the airport from being picked up at ASMo?? I'm hoping that we could request as late as possible of a pickup so we can enjoy some last few minutes in the parks. Thanks for your help!!

Are you using DME to get to the resort from MCO when you arrive? I have had to use just the return to the airport in the past since my ds drove me to BWV from the airport at the last minute. So...for the return to MCO, with no flight involved...I would find a flight that has a departure time that would get you to the airport at the right time. Say you needed to be at MCO to meet up with your party at 5:00 pm. I would choose a flight that left MCO at about 7:00 that night. They would put you on a bus around 4ish, getting you to the airport at about 4:30 or so. That flight info would be the info you would give to DME several days before you are to depart the resort (in the case you aren't using DME to arrive at the airport). Hopefully this is somewhat understandable.

If there flight gets in around 6:45 I'd try to get to the airport around 6pm.

You will have to tell them you have a flight at 8pm. That will get you a 5pm pickup and it should take about 1hr to get to the airport. Don't tell them you don't have a flight just state that you need to be at the airport by 8pm.

Yes we are using ME for our arriving flight. My other concern is we have our airfare booked through Disney so they already know that our return flight is not on that day that we are meeting up with my folks.

They already even have a pickup scheduled I believe so I am going to have to call and change it. I don't know if anyone can confirm this or not but it is listed on our confirmation paper that was mailed to us that we are using ME with the flight dates.

We have our room for that extra night so we can check out as late as possible----I'm hoping we can just do this by phone or thru the TV since we won't have any charges on our account---Does anyone know about this???

We are planning on grabbing our last meal to take with us on the bus---Can we do this???? from the food court at ASMo on our way to the bus. We would like to leave as late as 5:30 pm if possible----Can anyone confirm that we would be OK to get to the airport by 6:45pm if leaving then-----It would even be better to leave later if possible ---If we knew for sure that it would only take 30 min to get to the airport from ASMo---we would definitely do this since we won't be in a time constraint with a flight to catch. If we are a little late in meeting up with my folks it won't be a big deal.

Can anyone tell me if the bus picks us up around 6:00 to 6:15pm if we are the first stop or if there will be any resorts after us to pick up?? Are there certain resorts that ME picks up along with ASMo as a rule of thumb or could we possibly be the only resort depending on who has a return flight at what resort at that time of night?

My best advice would be to call ME and ask them these same questions.
