How will it be fair for prizes awarded during YOAMD?

Granted, I read the rules VERY QUICKLY, but it seems like this "Prize Patrol" can hand out a lot of prizes at random and by their own choice...which leads me to ask, "ISN'T DISNEY AFRAID OF A DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT???"

I mean, what if a PP CM hands out to a skinny family a bunch of fastpasses? Couldn't my chubby family cry foul? Or what if a white family sees an Africian American family win, etc, etc????

I know it is "random" to get picked to open a park and nobody gets upset, but I wonder how they are going to execute this without getting people upset? I mean, are they going to announce over the PA "Go to Libert Tree Tavern, the next 100 people get a pin set!"????

I am curious...I work w/the public so I know how people can be and I just cannot fathom how this will work and stay positive.

Read the rules again, more carefully.
The Dream Patrol will award the designated prize to the first Guest to enter/arrive at/appear in/whatever the 'prize-awarding' spot. Multiple prizes (e.g. a hundred lanyard & pin sets) will be awarded to the first hundred Guests to enter the given area. I'm SURE the area will vary constantly. Who knows - could be the first person to enter a given restroom (not stall, the entire room )
It HAS to be random. Contests and sweepstakes are extremely regulated. By laws.

ooops, I have been up for 33 hours sick, so my mind is scrambled!
I meant to say "the rules read like they are given out at random but by cast members and not computers shooting out winners"....what I mean is how will these CM decide who gets the prizes???

The rules actually are pretty explicit as to how the location and prize categories are chosen, plus the winner could also be a mail in entry. So, I do not think the process will be discretionary at all, and the CMs probably have very specific instructions as to how they are to go about the awarding process in the parks.

I am so happy that my skinny little white body could win a prize and my chubby husband who is also white could win also.

Really, we are all just the same...people!

to draw as much attention to myself as possible...like skip down Main Street in my Mousketeer shirt and ears singing zip a dee doo dah so they HAVE to award me a prize. I have a different outfit picked out for each park as a theme just to aid in the attention drawing!

I've read that the Prize Patrol CM's will be dressed in special attire:
Blue Vests or something like that...
I'll be on the lookout for differently dressed CM's on our trip!

Can you imagine the stampede if they were to do an announcement like the KMart Blue Light Special?

That would be so bad but that's not what they plan on doing from what I read.
