How will I know if a Disney VISA cardholder code comes out?

I have a Disney VISA but I never see any deals in my statement. Do I need to be checking the website periodically? Does anyone know what the website is? Thanks.

I too have the Disney Visa. I check for the offers at www.bankone.com, as that is where I do my online banking. There is a section that shows the current offers. Right now, for Disney World, there aren't any. There are a few for Disneyland, for the cruise, etc, but not Disney World.

Maybe try registering at bankone.com and see if you can get in that way to see the offers. I imagine you could, and would also show all of your account information.

Hope that helps,
Andy

I usually see something posted here about any new Disney Visa codes before I ever get a chance to check their website. Seems like someone here will notice it right away and post about it.

I called about a week & a half ago & asked VISA to send me my Disney Reward Dollars for our vacation next week. They said they would be here in about a week but still don't have them & getting a little worried. Does anyone know how long they usually take to get us? We are in Northeast, by the way.

Thanks for the website! And yes, I'm sure this board would hear about it faster than anyone! Lord knows I've been obsessively checking every day so I probably won't miss out.

They used to send reward dollars out in certificates but now they have this plastic credit card type deal - do they still do that? I've got one of those and supposedly you can transfer the reward dollars to it fairly quickly.

Just curious what you're waiting for. I'm also wondering if I can use that card when I check in (at a WDW hotel on-site) and have the balance there applied to my account? I did that last time and I used it up pretty quickly!

Yes, it is a plastic card. It actually looks like a gift card. It is usually valid until the end of the year it was issued. You can simply call or log on to the web site and transfer your reward dollars, instantly.

We used it all over the place, including the CR gift shop, Pecos Bills at MK, and WL. It works exactly like a gift card and your receipt says how much money is remaining on the card.

It was really nice to use for smaller purchases. We loved it!

Be sure to pay attention to the expiration date on the actual disney reward card. Ours expired and we were told all of our reward dollars were lost- we had about $130 on the card so we were very disappointed!

I have never had a card so that is what I am waiting for. Interestingly enough, I was going to charge quite a bit this month & have pts transfered when we got there but found out that new pts are only available after the close of next billing cycle (which is after we will be there(. Had I known this I could have charged tickets, room, etc to get the pts ahead of time.

We had plans to go to WDW in Aug '04 but that fell through. I had ordered the card with a minimum amount of money on it - like $20. Seems to me it is good until Dec. 05 and we plan to use it this summer.

It is hard to keep up with a little card like that if you only use it every couple of years!

I was wondering however if there is a way to transfer money from that card to our acct. at the disney hotel once we check in. I like being able to use the room key to charge all our purchases and would like to have the reward money on that card transferred to our acct - so it would be "in the black" as we started out (cause the room will be paid for). Last time we went they had the certificates and I just applied those to our acct at check in and that worked great. That way I don't have to carry around both cards. Anyone know if I can do that?

Or is there a way to use some of that credit to apply it to the cost of my room/tickets bought through Disney before I go?

I'm pretty sure the points post today on everyone statement. Check on the site tomorrow. You can then transfer them online & have it available for your trip.

You can go to the site. Click reward balance then click reward history. It will tell you when the card was shipped.

Last year I was thinking that maybe we could squeeze in a WDW trip in the summer (didn't work out)...I was checking the Disney Visa web site twice a day for discount codes. However, I heard about the Disney Visa code on the DIS and it didn't show up on the Disney Visa web site until two days later!

I checked & I am at zero even tho I've made charges since card was sent out. According to her, they only update pts at end of billing cycle which for me isn't until first week of Feb. Oh well.

Selket - yes you can just have all of the reward dollars added to your hotel account at check-in. But if you don't use them all, I don't believe they can transfer the unused dollars back to your card. Not that I have ever had that problem! I can always use more! :D

Another way to access the site... go to www.bankone.com Where the Login ID is, right above is a drop down box...change this to "CARDMEMBER SERVICES". put in your login and password. It's been working for me.
