I know a lot of people complain that all events (partically the last two) are really bad, due to cues of 400+. So tell us. How was the event?

Was this an event? LOL, I guess so. I bought the shirts to vote. :rotfl:
I'm such a VMK sucker!

This was an event? That's sort of sad.....

LOL, that is what I thought when I read the title of this thread.

It was fine- not very exciting- but also no stress involved... Not tons of people on complaining of crashing or other bad experiences- and I even managed to get into two staff game rooms this weekend- (didn't win anything but made it through lol)

I was hoping they would have changed the NPC's saying to actually campaign some more- but all in all it was fine- "non-eventful" event...

-yawn- Boring

What event...

This was an event?!

Put your 2 brain cells together to make something better!

I was kind of hoping that they might have some staff wandering around (NOT in designated areas) to give prizes to people who were wearing their voting shirts. This would kind of make it fun, and make it more of an event. I'm sure people would have been more excited to vote if they had the chance of being "spotted" and rewarded for voting.

Overall though, at least people weren't greatly disappointed in the event, and that makes it a success. They didn't over-promise and under-deliver which they have done on every single event before this. There were some problems early on Friday morning, but they sorted those out relatively quickly.

So, overall a "pretty good" event. This may be the future of vmk events, because until they solve some of the problems that have plagued the previous events, they should not attempt to replicate them.

I really didn't see the difference here about Event and Normal VMK Day. Looked the same to me so I can't say I hate it, but I can't say I liked it

Good Point!

I would have liked to see staff 'exploring' the areas (with,Oh I don't know,Inferno?)This was decent, all they needed to do was make different shirts.

In the newsletter it said the NPCs would campaining.I saw NO campaining at all.

It was a joke lol, And if that was an event I have this conversation to show you.
GuestXXXXXX:When is the next event?
Me:Hmm let me think
GuestXXXXXX:Ok than.
GuestXXXXXX:...are u done i been waiting for ONE that is right ONE minute let's speed things up
Me:Oh sorry, the next event is tomorrow, and after that the next day, and the next day, and the next day..etc.

Hats aside, because they weren't really part of it. I thought the event was a little weak. Hopefully they were testing to see participation and different ways to track things in events and move it along (and not crash). The Halloween decorations didn't add much since that’s over. The lack of interesting designs on the shirts was a poor choice. Not having it set up for the first hour got it off to a bad start. Overall, while the event itself was weak and a little boring I did see some participation, strongest on the first day, falling off through the weekend. It was an interesting idea but many were uninformed and lets face it even though the shirts were cheap having to pay to vote, is that right? On the plus side I was able to win the space mountain room this weekend while I was bored.

They were offering inferno yesterday in a staff room! I was soooo close to getting inferno. You had to match the 3 numbers on the machines to the numbers the staff provided. I was one digit off!! Oh well. At least it was not crowded.

Well, given that way too many people are still campaigning for the NPCs today, I'd have to say this event wasn't exactly successful. But it was a gazillion times less frustrating that prior events because it mostly worked!

qruthie (the 'q' is silent)

Very low key, the only had trouble getting into the Emporium, as on Friday about noon and the rest of the weekend it was good.

I didn’t buy any of the shirts because they were not special to the event, just the same shirts re-name and would be renamed back the original name. But someone did give me a Ned shirt to wear.
