How was school for you?

I loved the learning part of school. If auditing college classes was free, I’d probably always be auditing random, interesting classes. I hated the social aspect of school. Don’t miss that at all.

K-12 best I can recall I had about 43 different teachers. I can only think of 4 that really seemed to care about their students.
I know my mom was always disappointed in my teachers, felt they were just calling it in.
College was different. Many great teachers there. But I went to a private University where Professors were required to teach their classes, grade all their students assignments, keep office hours and if they wanted to publish, that was fine, but it took a back seat to their students.

From Kindergarten to graduation it was a nightmare for me.

Some of the work could be a bit stressful at times, but I mainly recall having fun and it being an enjoyable experience.

For the most part, I enjoyed school. I hated math and definitely took everything too seriously. Wish I had had more fun.

Didn't like it. I was just an average student. Didn't get involved in sports, activites, etc. I was shy, afraid to put myself out there. I did have friends. Life did get better after high school.

I was a good student, but I really didn't like school. Had to get up way too early and be around people all day - not my cup of tea.

I disliked school all the way thru getting my Masters in college. I still have nightmares about college.
