How vunerable do we now appear to other countries?

This has ben weighing heavily on my mind the last week.

All of these images being pushed out on the world, the worst of humanity, the terror, the lack of help, the lawlessness.


How vulnerable does this make us? Do our enemies look on and realize that we cant we take care of what is happening in our own borders. Do you think that makes us look like more of a target?

I just pray that it sends enough of a message that we can take care of our own.

It's not just appearances.

People FEEL more vulnerable.

It's hard to see these images on TV and not be horrified at the plight of these people. But I think emotions are also in overdrive because it's such a grim reminder of how helpless we are to all sorts of risks, both man made and natural.

ABC news was reporting this morning that there was sympathy from other countries, but some gloating in news reports as well.

the same thing has been on my mind. i think it makes us very vunerable & just shows how we handle or our lack of handling disasters. its scary.

This isn't anything like a terriorist attack. This is a natural disaster. They are two very different things, and honestly I don't think any other country would handle it any differently. We are doign the best we can. This has thrown everyone for a loop. I don't think we appear vounerable, I think we appear human. jmho
