Thats terrible. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I do find it very odd that I havent heard of any fatalities at disney for years and years and all of a sudden there are three in a short period of time. I could be wrong and just never heard about any fatalities. This type of thing shouldnt be happening at the Happiest Place on Earth... I mean I know it happens anywhere, its just tragic.

As a pp noted - these sort of accidents happen all the time. It's just a case of what is and is not made public. Disney is making the news right now, given the popularity of the parks; and the fact there have been deaths associated with the accidents. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure plenty of smaller problems are kept behind the scenes...

Exactly. When I was there back in 2002 and there were 2 deaths during my visit (one cast member and one guest). Unfortunately this stuff is always happening, it's just that Disney likes to keep harsh cold reality from it's guests.
