How Tough to Book OKW GV for Christmas at 11 Months?

We are thinking of adding on points at OKW so we can book a grand villa at Christmas each year. We know we won't be able to travel for Christmas in 2015, so we are only looking for 2016 and beyond. We don't want to bother adding on any more points if it is unlikely that we could get the GV at the 11 month mark, though. So my question is: how tough is it to book a GV at OKW for Christmas week right at 11 months? Would it require any special effort (like calling and adding one day at a time, etc?.) How does one manage to get this reservation? Have you been able or unable to book it in the past? Any special advice?

OKW GV's are very hard to get, especially during major holidays. However, the 11 month window is as good as it gets. I'd put your odds at about 50/50, just off the top of my head. This might be a good candidate for "walking" a reservation.
