We got DS-11 and DD-12 tickets to the HSM in January and since they were quite a bit $$ they are Christmas gifts. We have both the movie and the soundtrack already. Any ideas on how to wrap them for Xmas?

You could maybe set up some sort of scavenger hunt to lead them to the movie case and they could be inside?? Just an idea :)

Yeah! And maybe you could put them in a larger box! I love doing that to my family... Putting things in bigger boxes, so they will have no clue what they are getting!! :cool1:

It would be funny to see the look on their faces when they see the movie they already own :rotfl: Then when they open it a Shriek!!! I always love the girlie shriek!

I was at Claire's the other day and they had HSM musical stuff. They had the HSM calendar that I bought for DD. Maybe you could buy one of these and mark the date in January with "High School Musical Concert" or something and then tape the tickets to the back of the calendar in an envelope?

I don't know how far you want to take this, but, how about scanning the tickets into your computer, enlarging them, and printing them onto iron-ons. You could iron them onto T-shirts, pillow cases, laundry bags, most anything that can be ironed.

Happy holidays! Penny

I got pricey Celtics tickets for my nephew a few years back and they were to be both his Christmas and Birthday gifts. I wrapped put them in a box and wrapped them in birthday themed wrapping paper and then put them in another box and wrapped that in Christmas themed paper. Come Christmas eve he was really excited and couldn't wait for the whole family around to open presents and asked if he could open one up early. I agreed and said he could unwrap ONE box. Boy was he mad when he found another gift-wrapped box inside. I made him wait to open that one but he agreed the tickets were worth the wait.

Anyway, why don't you wrap a box inside a wrapped box inside a wrapped box etc...as many boxes as you can do.

I like the idea from the PP about scanning in the tickets and printing them out on a tee shirt, though.
