Ok, so our next Disney trip is December 11 and I just don't know how to wait till then. I am an obsessive planner, but really how much can I do this far in advance? We have been three times in the last two years, I can plan this trip in an hour..............:rotfl: The more I read the boards, the more I want to go now (but can't, have to spend summer vacation doing "family things..."

How do you wait when the next trip is 7 months away?:upsidedow

I know what you mean.. I only have a month and a half to go but sometimes it feels like years :sad2: .. I think we should all just build a time machine..:rotfl2:

That was me last year, and the worst was we were keeping the trip a secret from the kids. It is so hard, you start thinking Disney, I even started to dream about the trip and I could hear my sister in law screaming on Splash Mountain even though this was going to be her first trip. It was horrible. It is funny even though I too am an overplanner once we walked into the park aside from Blue Bayou and Fantasmic reservation everything I planned was forgotten and we just had a wonderful time! Good luck.

I know what you all are feeling. I am also going in December and I will be booking the hotel tomorrow. I dont have everything planned out yet but still I want it to be here NOW... It will be a long and hard wait but very well worth it. Hang in there!:thumbsup2

I booked HOJO's at the ent. rate last week. (I can always cancel if DLH has a decent deal) We love DLH but just can't justify the expense.....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm driving my family crazy with "Disneyland this, and Disneyland that", but I love this part of going. Planning is half the fun...especially when I wheel and deal and get great prices.

Thank goodness my daughter and granddaughter are just as excited and into the planning as I am. At least I've got someone to talk to.

November seems like a very long time from now, but with summer just around the corner, at least I can look forward to our camping trips. We're going to camp near Leavenworth in May, June, and August, and a very special, 1st time ever, camp out at Deception Pass State Park in July. (one of the most beautiful places in the state of Washington)

On June 14th, I'm taking all my grandkids to Enchanted Village and on August 3rd, I'm taking a day off just for me to do whatever I want to do. I'm thinking about visiting the rain forest this year...or just a drive around the Olympic Penninsula, or maybe even a visit to Mt. Rainier.

Yes..iIt rains a lot here, but the summers are breath-taking...that's probably why I don't move closer to Disneyland. ;)

I feel ya, we usually always go in June. So I've got this feeling like I should be getting ready to go!! But no, not going until October. Hasn't stopped me from planning though. Already got the hotel and a rental van reserved. But still, feels like something is "missing".

ok so off the topic, where near levenworth are you camping? We are going to Cle Elum in June to visit my mother's 99 year old aunt and are looking at going to levenworth for a few day..........We are in the Portland area.

We go to Fish Lake which is right across the road from Lake Wenatchee State Park. It's about 15 miles west of Leavenworth.

Leavenworth is spectacular during the winter...especially during the Christmas season, but the summers are beautiful there as well. The town is nestled right up against the Cascade Mountains and has very Scandinavian feel to it.
