Following on from another zebra dome thread, here's my question. I am going out to the world in August and will be stopping for dinner one night at Jiko. I know they sell them in the Mara and was going to pick some up. How am I going to get them home in one peice on a hot August night without them melting? Is it a case of eating them quick before they die on me :teeth: or is there a good way to transport them? Give me some ideas people,

Having read and seen the descriptions of the ZMs I like the idea of eating them quickly :)

Do you have a small lunch box or six pack soft sided cooler? Either of these with a ziplock of ice will work fine.

Most Wal-Marts and grocery stores sell dry ice now....then there is no chance of diluted zebra!

They come in a plastic box about 3 inches by 4 inches. Ask for a second box and put ice in the bottom and then set the box on top of the ice. I don't think they have plastic bags only paper so bring one to help with the melting ice.

The Zebra Domes are worth the trip. We are going on a girls only trip in May and one of the reasons we are staying at AKL is quick access to Zebra Domes. When I was there in February that package had 3 zebra domes and 2 moose like items. Both were out of this world.
