Did you see How to Train your Dragon?

  • Saw it in 3D - awsome effects!!!

  • Saw it in a regular theatre and it was awsome!

  • Wished I saw it in 3D.

  • 3D was a waste of money.

My kids want to see HTTYD in 3D, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra money. I saw Avatar in 3D and didn't think there were many special effects to make it worth the extra money - probably would have been just as good without the 3D glasses. I liked Avatar by the way.

Anybody see HTTYD in 3D? Not 3D? Opinions please.popcorn::

We saw Dragons in 3D and liked it a lot. We probably could have seen it without 3D and would have liked it just as much. The effects are good but I wouldn't drive across town to see it. The closest theatre had the 3D version so that is what we saw.

I love the new 3D.If the movie is available in it,that's the one we'll see.Worth the extra to me.Makes the show feel more real.

Excellent movie also.

To show how probably idiotic/stupid we are, there is an older theatre basically across the street, but we drive almost an hour to a new Cobb multi teired one that also has an awesome snack area.We feel that we enjoy ourselves so much more there.Sure wish they were in reversed locations though.lol

I've seen it in 2D and 3D. While I prefer the 3D personally, I think the more objective opinion would be that if you felt Avatar's 3D didn't add a lot for you, you'll most likely feel that Dragon's 3D adds even less. Of course all I have to base that on are my feelings about Avatar's 3D effects... I felt they were fairly amazing compared to Dragon although I preferred Dragon's over all story. Enjoy! It'll be a lot of fun either way you decide! :)

We loved it in 3D and are contemplating seeing it again. Toothless is the most adorable thing ever :goodvibes

We saw it in 3D and would gladly go see it in 3D again, which is pretty rare for us. We never see the same movie in the theater more than once, but HTTYD is so good we would consider it. By far the best movie Dreamworks has ever done and one of our top favorite animated movies ever, including Pixar and Disney. It is great.

One of our cats is almost exactly like Toothless - minus the wings, fire breathing, and ability to fly, of course. :)
