Our pre-purchased park tickets have black strips on them.
So does our Disney Gift Cards.

I know not to keep the cards in a cold or hot area and not to get them wet.

But if I place them next to each other, I do not want to demagnetize the black strip or screw them up...

So how to store all our pre-purchased park tickets and Disney Gift Cards in the same place ?

If I place paper between them - is that good enough ?
Do I need something like cardboard between the cards ?

Please help - I do not want the tickets or gift cards to be unusable.

No need to put anything in between them. You can stack them on top of each other. We always do this with out APs and never have a problem.

HOWEVER, you should keep them far away from cell phones or any other electronic devices. My husband forgets and puts his ticket in his pocket next to his cell phone and as soon as his cell phone goes off the ticket becomes demagnetized and we have to have a new one issued.

If anything does happen to the ticket to demagnetize it, just take the ticket to guest services and they will issue a replacement one.

you really just have to treat them the way you would treat a credit card or ATM card.

When at WDW we carry ours in a clear plastic holder on our lanyards, along with our fast passes etc.

Never stack the cards with the magnetic strips touching....as in back to back. Also, magnets on a purse can affect the strip.

I like to buy one of those clear plastic wallet inserts to store my cards. You can get them at places like Claire's for under a dollar. Then each card can have it's own pocket.
