I see all these great journals and i am intimidated to get started!!! do you just start typing whatever and add to the first entry later as it gets longer and develops categories? it seems overwhelming!!!

Don't worry, it's a lot easier than it looks. ;) Just go over to the Planning Our Happily Ever After Section, and create a new thread. Usually people start off with an introduction, how they met their DF, proposal story, wedding plans and go from there. :goodvibes

You can always go back to the first post and edit the title for updates and some even add links, but I haven't quite figured out the linking part yet.

Good luck! :goodvibes

I hesitated for 8 months - now that I've started I'm so happy i did....it's a great way to get your ideas out there, to vent when you are stressed, and to get advice and support!

As posted above, start with an intro and your back story, and move on from there! Good luck!

As you can tell from my PJ - it is a random grouping of thoughts (and with mine, a lot of changes and rechanges). I use it mostly to store everything, links to vendors, pictures, ideas.

Before I even posted, I spent days reading others, because they had experienced the good and bad, things they would do again and was a waste of time/money and I'm found some really great ideas and things through them.

In your post, click the globe with the chain link and a box will pop up. First enter the URL of the site. You'll see ]URL="http://test.test.com"[ http://test.test ]/URL[ (but with [ ] in the opposite order.) In between the .com and the "/URL" You can change the wording to look like ]URL="http://test.test.com"[ My guest book ]/URL[

thanks people!!!!! i will try and get started! i blog myself, but this is such a specific subject. only thing is whether or not to explicitly warn the hubby-to-be NOT too look - there could be spoilers!!!!!:bride:

In order to post pics, they have to already be online somewhere. I use photobucket.com.

Once you have the address to where the photos are "http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/funny-pictures-cat-was-good.jpg" (If the picture is already online, right click and click on "copy image location")

Click on the yellow square next to the globe and enter that address..
