How To Save When Booking Spirit Airlines (Or maybe other airlines too!)

It may have been mentioned before, but I thought I'd share with you guys.

Spirit Airlines charges a "Passenger Usage Fee" (about $17 per person, per way) on every flight that is booked online.

If possible, go to the airport and buy the tickets there, in person, in advance. It is a savings of $34 per person on round trip flights!

I was able to score a flight from FLL to MCO, round trip in August, for two people, for 88$ total! Online on spirit.com, that same flight would have cost me $156! I saved $68

It could be possible that other airlines have a fee like that too. If you live near an airport, it is worth a try!

Glad I could help! I didn't think going in person would actually avoid the fee, but it did!

Same thing with Allegiant Air. You save the fee by going to the airport to purchase tickets.
