When we got to our room Grumpy told me she wasn't sure she wanted to get up early and go have breakfast with Stitch the next day. I said we should go to sleep and worry about it in the morning. Our ADR was for 7.30, and then that nasty, NASTY, MEANNNNNNNNNN bus was picking us up at 10.15. Our idea had been to have a quick brekky with the alien and enjoy the pool for a little bit before we had to leave.
I finished packing - there had been a stop at MouseGear at some point during the night and therefore we had more to pack. Grumpy fell asleep almost right away, but I couldn't. My mind was racing. When would we come back ? Would it take YEARS ? Or would we be able to squeeze in a short Christmas trip ? I thought about having to go back to work. Didn't want to. On the other hand, couldn't come back if I didn't work. But then may not be able to come back if I *did* work !
I dozed off to sleep around 3am. At 7, when the clock rang, Grumpy took her head out of the covers long enough to tell me "
no going" then went right back to sleep. This bugged me. It's silly, I know, but I really love Stitch !!! But Grumpy was tired and frankly, so was I.
After five minutes though, Grumpy threw her covers away and said "Come on, let's go!". She didn't have to tell me twice ! I jumped out of bed and into my jeans, cleaned up as fast as I could, and less than 10mns later, we were at the Grand Ceremonial House.
We went to check in, and I apologized for us being late. The CM at the desk was very nice.
"Sometimes the morning transportation isn't the best. Where are you guys staying ?"
Ahem... Cough.. Tokelau... Double Cough
Maybe I should have lied and said POP ??
Grumpy fell back asleep as soon as she sat down.
But I know how my GrumpGrump works
"Remember, the pineapple and cinnamon bread ?"
See THAT is how you wake up a Sleepy Grumpy.
We had a ball at the breakfast. Stitch was his usual crazy self.
But it was Pluto that stole the show. It started innocently enough with a big kiss on the nose
Then Pluto made a mistake... He jumped up and then went down with all four "paws" in the air. Grumpy is a dog lover and she went right to work. Pluto didn't stay long and Grump was a little taken aback - most dogs enjoy her tummy scratching.
Days later, when I finally looked at our photos, I realized what she did.
As I see this once again, I shudder but need to face the obvious, revolting truth.
My mother is a Pluto Molester.
