How to request Alcove room at Swan?

I have narrowed down my choices to the Swan for my Mom' surprise birthday trip. I chose the Swan mainly because, they have queen sized beds instead of full. It would be hard to sleep on a full after sleeping on a king at home.

I really want this trip to be extraordinary for my mom. I have already decided that I want the balcony room but I have seen some pictures of the Alcove rooms and want to try to book one? How can you tell which rooms are the alcove rooms when booking.

Are there views of the boardwalk from the Swan?

Oh what a nice birthday surprise for your Mom. She is going to be thrilled. I do believe that the Alcove rooms are on the corners so I would suggest calling The Swan (407) 934-3000 directly and see if you can speak with someone regarding the Alcove rooms. I did this when I made our reservation for the Grand Suite and the CM was very helpful. Hope this helps and happy planning.:flower3:

Thanks for the response. I will give them a call today. My mom has been so amazing this year. She has been helping me with my dad while he recovers from a heart attack and a stroke. They have been divorced for over 25 years but she comes to take care of him everyday until I get home from work.

She cooks for him and even stays up at night when he is having a hard time sleeping so that I can get some rest. This trip is much deserved. She has the most generous spirit of anyone that I have ever met.

She loves Disney and I want her to have a really magical trip this time.

Wow, First I would like to say that I hope your dad makes a full recovery. I completely understand what it's like to deal with heart disease and strokes. We have been dealing with it for 28 years now with my in laws. Second. God bless your mom as well as yourself. I truly believe that you both deserve to have a magical time in Disney. Best wishes to all of you.
