How to request a certain room type? Newbie question

Newbie question- booking our first DVC stay (yay!)- how do I do a room request? Do I need to call MS or can it be done online?

You can email MS through the member site with your request. Usually within a couple of days they will reply noting that the have received your request.

That's interesting. I emailed them Monday my request for December and haven't heard back acknowledging our request.

There are times that I've had it take longer so I wouldn't be too concerned.
