My DD got ink spot on a new pair of shorts. Any suggestions/ideas on how to remove it?

TIA

I spray the spot on the outside and from the inside with cheap hair spray. Usually comes right out, once in awhile needs a second washing.

I always use cheap hairspray (the pump kind, not the aerosol). I read that it is the alcohol in the hairspray that is the active agent and that you can use plain rubbing alcohol if you want to or if it is a rally stubborn stain. Good luck!

I always use straight rubbing alcohol and it seems to work.

Hairspray or rubbing alcohol. (Hairspray is made with rubbing alcohol.) Then blot, blot, blot with absorbent paper towels.

Tide Stain Release takes out everything!

I had a small ink stain on a pair of my favorite shorts a few days ago. I just pre-treated it with a little, Gain and washed it as normal. That did the trick for me.

I second the hairspray--- even got dark blue sharpie out of our white carpet!!

If it's ball point, denatured alcohol works really well! Better than rubbing alcohol to my mind.

If it's another ink, you might try Murphy's oil soap. I know it sounds crazy, but it works like a charm on paint, dry erase, and other inky stains.
